I just read the answers to the question I asked yesterday and the answer I was going to pick has been removed. Once again the truth has been taken away. Do we have to hold everyones hand. Oh, if we dont say only nice things about those without a clue we will be erased? I dont know who is doing it but, GROW UP!!! If you dont like an answer just give it a thumbs down! Thats what the ratings are for. How many others feel Violated by Ignorance?

I have a Doberman Pinscher, and the reason I decided to get a Doberman is I have wanted one since I was ten (I am twenty-seven now) and I am a big walker, and I really wanted a large, athletic breed that could go on long walks with me, and discourage any potenial muggers/crooks, etc. She has been the perfect dog! So what made you decide to get your dog?

We have two dobermans and just moved into a new rental home, which we rented largely for the huge backyard for our dogs. Well now that we're moving in we've discovered our neighbors have a small hound mix. You can imagine the problem this creates. The fence is a 6-foot wood privacy fence, but if both of us have our dogs out at the same time, they just race up and down that side of the yard, barking and harassing each other (I'm also worried about the grass!). I don't want this to cause problems with the neighbors, so am considering getting one of those anti-bark boxes you mount on the fence that emits an ultrasonic noise when they bark, in the hopes that it will shut up their dog and ours. However, our dogs don't have a problem with just incessant barking as the product seems to indicate, they are mainly obnoxious just when this other dog is out. Has anyone had experience with these things? If this won't work, any other recommendations?

Why do dogs like to eat pig ears? My dog also enjoys watermelon rinds and carrots. The carrots make her poop orange. Any other wierd things your dog has eaten too?

Just thanking everyone for suggestions but we got the head removed and all the ticks...There was only 7 total but still could have harmed her. As for some of the rude comments I ask in the future if you dont know all circumstances then dont comment. I did not breed the dog nor let her get pregnant. She was abondoned by some people in Missouri and I just drove 800 miles to help the friends of mine out and went n got them before they lost their home and dogs went to pound because they did not have the room. I however live on a farm so I have the room. In missouri they had only a one bedroom and it was near woods. I did call a 24 hr animal clinic b4 posting question. I also have one more question...How do you get a dog to quit eating the cats food...lol...Was just curious...I have heard several ways like squirt her with water and other things. Please let me know. Any rude comments or answer I will report. Thank you.

Does anyone have any tips on how to start to train a puppy at this age? I understand she is young and is still suppose to be with her mom, but she was abandoned. I am specially looking for tips on potty training and her howeling when we leave a room. At night its not too bad but during the day she lets the world know she wants attention haha. Please if anyone can help if ANY information about traingin her and caring for her at such a young age. Thanks

My grand daughter's (20 yrs. old) Lab is giving birth right now, she is helping to much from the start, before there were any problems. Only 2 born so far, but she helped from start, breaking bags and moving pups to nurse. Now the mom is growling at pups and pushing them away. The mom is 4 yrs.old, first litter Help!

my dog was being annoying on xmas eve so we locked him up in his crate and ignored him. he started digging and digging and digging. as he dug at the door, he was ripping his nails- breaking a few of them to the point of bleeding.
is there anything that I need to do for his injured nails?
or will they heal on their own?

My dog has had the twitches in her back legs only for the last couple of nights after she has been asleep for a couple of hours. it does not seem to be painful just annoying to her and me as she cannot sleep and keeps getting up and repositioning herself? Could it of just been constipation as i did not see her go a couple of days ago and she took a while doing a poo today. I tried to take her outside in the night when she was twitching but she did not want to go out. She's just coming off heat. She is 6 yrs old and very healthy normally.

My dog is shedding. I am trying to get off the shedded hair with a soft brush I bought at the dog store. He fights it terribly. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can remove the shedding hair from my dog? I have tried everything from feeding him treats while I am trying to do it or sneaking up on him and getting it done little by little before he struggles and runs away. Any suggestions? Would taking him to a professional dog groomer do the trick?

She is a toy poodle mix, so she is pretty small 7-8 lbs. If I am trying to catch her,she runs from me and growls. Then when I am about to catch her she growls and barks but her tail is wagging and she is in play position (body low, tail in air). When I pick her up she tries to bite me especially if she has something in her mouth she thinks i will take away from her. So far she hasn't hurt me too bad she has only cut my finger twice, but I am tired of it. How do I make her stop this?

I started leaving my dog, golden retriever of ten months, outside and I am worried that he would keep wanting to come inside. He is shedding and seems too big to keep inside anymore. We built a dog house for him but he doesn't want to go in. Is it okay to keep him outside now?

alright here is the story. Recently my dog has started to dig at my door at night. We have to have him locked up at night because of christmas 'stuff.' So, no matter where we put him (crate, bedroom) he digs (which makes a lot of noise). Then my sister pointed out the cause could be that we taught him to dig at doors people were behind-as a game. And she is right. And I also admit it is my fault he started digging. So if I know what causes the problem- how in the world can I stop him from it?
note: I can't afford a proffesional trainer right now after christmas.

and if you have no idea then could I email some one to ask them how to stop him?
