My pomeranian will grab a kibble and run all the way across the kitchen into the carpeted dining room and eat it, and then repeat, a dozen times. Is linoleum hard on the nails or something? I know it's not just her either because our last one did the same thing as well as my sister's dog. It's funny to watch, but it's kind of confusing as to why they do it. Thanks for the help!!

I have a dog that has long hair and she is partly outside sometimes and she always stinks. She sleeps in the house but I have to give her a bath 2 times a week. I don't have the money all the time to get her groomed so I take it upon myself. She knows when it is bath time because she runs and hides and it is a struggle. Do you know of anyway to ease her into knowing that I am not trying to hurt her but I am doing it because she smells?

Usually when I feed him he eats all his food real fast, every bit of it. Today he ate but didn't finish his bowl like he usually does, he is acting normal behavior besides that, could he be sick?

Should I take his bowl away or leave it out for him?

Everytime I leave the house he chews the couch. I've tried putting him in the crate, but he screams. We live in a townhouse and I'm afraid the neighbors will complain. Any ideas?

She would probably lick the area because she has been scratching the itchy portion with her nails. Some of the hair has been scratched off. She is a docile, non-biting type animal and we love her very much, but I am the sole income of my family and cannot take her to the vet with every ailment. She does Not cry or whine about this situation and is a very happy dog, but still need to clear this up for her.

Right Now, i am living in a apt, and lately I notice a dog that is left outside for long periods of the day without food or water. Its a beautiful husky dog,and she looks so sad. The owner ties her up and leaves her out in the cold weather. Is that considered abuse, I wanna take her but i know i cant. Does anyone know? I mean she looks so cold and sad. And for it be at an apartment,

Thanks

I have heard of cases when the dogs are racing they some time fall through the ice musher and all and the climb out but don't the husky/malamute dogs risk exposure from being wet........ And it is not uncommon for the musher to get stranded with the dogs in a sever blizzard storm ....does that not put the dogs at risk to the extremes.......And do they over run the dogs ....I HOPE I AM WRONG

THANKS ..............Rab

We have a registered Shih Tzu with very sensitive skin. I've tried canine shampoo for sensitive skin, regular baby shampoo and now I'm using a bodywash with cocoa and shea butter. It's helping, but he smells like a dog again after 3 days! He goes to the groomer once a month and I bath him once a week (if I don't he jumps into the tub and barks until I do!) Any suggestions of products that have been successful for you and your dog? Thanks in advance for your caring, intelligent answers!

I have 2 dogs and have spent numerous dollars on bedding. Every time I buy nice soft place for them to lay, they tear it apart. The cotten stuffing goes everywhere, as if it snowed! They are sleeping on the cold hard concrete now. I love my dogs but cant keep buying chew toys like that.

She brought our dog to meet santa with the girls. It's rather odd to say the least. She's very attached to our dog Sadie, and when the girls pull on her tail or ears, she tells them "Leave your sister ALONE! How would you feel if she did the same to you?" And other certain things like this that make me wonder. She speaks to Sadie like she understands and as if she's a person. She brushes her teeth, paints her nails, feeds her what we eat everynight (She's looked online to make sure she doesn't feed her anything toxic to her), she has also brought home Puppy Bowl dvds from the Animal Planet series because she says "Sadie is obsessed with them". Do you know of anybody who behaves in this manner? Is this normal in any way?.... Could she be feeling a certain way psychologically and be presenting it through our dog? Sadie is a 3 year old Pit Bull. Our daughters are 5 year old twins. I don't know if this matters, but I thought I should tell you everything so you can better answer my question
