It says they live to be 12 to 15 years

It depends on how well they are taken care mostly. My first pug, Dirk, lived to be 20 years old. I've still got one of his sons, Socrates, who is almost 16 years old, and Socrates mom, Nissan lived be almost 18. I have heard of some pugs as old as 22. Any inbreeding in the dog does seem to shorten it's life span from what I've heard.

Just got to say. Pugs make awesome family members!

Small dogs often live longer than larger dogs.

Barring any unforseen illness or injury, a well-cared for pug could live to be between 15 and 20+ years old.
