I have a five-month-year-old female beagle and I want to know when she will have developed and how often her period will take place. I have always had male dogs and cats, so I am not so experienced.

Hi! I was wondering if you had one of those dogs that are really territoiral or one of those watchdogs if you would leave them outside...me and my mom were jogging earlier this evening and this huge dog that wasnt leashed ran over to us barking and growling and it really scared us...I'm pretty sure that was the point but it stopped on the edge of the yard..if we were to keep jogging would it have crossed the line? and should we say anything about the unsupervised dog?

We got 2 new dalmatian puppies today - one is black spotted and the other is liver spotted. They are both girls but my husband wants more unisex names...a little on the unique side and even better if they go together. Any suggestions?

My husband and I are looking for a puppy or dog for under $500, if possible. We both really want a Teacup dog (usually weighing under 6 lbs) but we know those breeds are usually too expensive, so we won't be able to afford one. He wants one that is "cute, small, fluffy, and fat" (Never mind the fat part lol) I was looking in to something along the lines of maybe a Maltese, Morkie (maltese/yorkie mix) or Malti-poo (maltese/poodle mix). If you have any idea where I could find one around Lowell/Chelmsford MA that would be great.

Thanks a bunch in advance!

Well I am considering getting a second dog. I already have a laid back mutt that me and my family love. I am afraid that if I get another dog (it will have the same personality) that my dog will feel like I am trying to replace her. Should I get the other dog? If you think she will feel rejected then what could I do to make her feel better?

I've been contemplating but a 9month old goldren retriever from a friend who has to sell theirs. She is 9months and not yet spade. Is she too old for this to occur? I don't plan on breeding & don't want a PMSing dog around my house. Is 9months too old?

How sad r the “so called human beings” who buy/get a dog then as soon as the novelty has gone they think its ok to keep there dog locked up in the house with out any human interaction apart from feeding and giving them a drink, NO WALKS, NO PETTING OR FUSSING,NO TALKING TO EXCEPT TO SHOUT “GET IN UR BED”!!!
Worse still they only want to Bred them for profitL
I reported one of my neighbours, cos she wouldn’t listen even though I told her I would report her now I cant even go out of my house with out getting a load of abuse from her and her friendsL
But at least her dogs have been rehomed and she isn’t allowed to have any more animals for lifeJ
I could involve ppl to sort this out but I don’t want to sink to her level What do u think I should do?
Prove im better than her by (ignoring her) or (give them there match) and stoop to there level? ??

I have a female and male dog that are both 4 months. I am worried that the male dog will "get on her" and she will become pregnant too early. When are they old enough so I can seperate them?
