My dog has been on Frontline for months now and with in the past month he has been itching alot. We gave him a bath the around the !st of Aug but used an all natural shampoo on him so that shouldn't of had anything to do with it. I don't like taking him to the vets unless I really have to, they charge you so much and my dog dosen't really like going either. If you've had the same problem with your dog or know of something that could help please let me know asap!! Thank you and have a great day!

My pit bull is 2.5 months old, people say that if you introduce any other pet when a dog is young, then it will get use to being around them. I don't know if it's the same in every case?

I live in a condo and my neighbor upstairs is always complaining about my dogs' barking. Should I make my dogs stop barking when they are just playing or expressing themselves? Will stopping their barking make them sad. Note: I am talking about 2 little yorkshire terriers.

I read on here the male dog will only mark his territory by peeing in your house which will have a strong odor AFTER they have bred with a female. Is this true? Or can they be marking their territory without being bred? My dog is 8 months old and has suddenly within the last month began peeing in the house A LOT after he was pretty much housebroken. How can I fix this or is heJUST marking his territory and the only way to fix the problem is to fix him?

My 5 year old black Labrador is really sweet and well behaved...unless there is food around. She is constantly begging and if we say no she either ignores it or walks away and comes back 5 minutes later! How do I keep her away from our food for good?

we have a 3 year old female husky. we notice this more when she wakes up, her jaw shakes (virbrate) we have no idea why, but she dosen't seem to be in any pain. Its more of an annoyance to her then anything.your help would be a big help to us. we are hoping to learn what it is and if there is anything we can do for her.

I have only had my puppy for about a week now. I got him from someone who was starving him and not taking care of him, he was trapped up inside a trailor with two other dogs not being fed or taken care of. I brought him home and started feeding him reg. gave him a bath and took care of the fleas. He was fine for the first three days, now he is vomiting and has diarrhea. It looked to me like he had worms coming out, so I searched on the internet to find out what each type of worm looks like and it described them as roundworms. I called the vet and he told me to give him pepto to stop the diarrhea and it did but now he wont eat anything or drink anything and all he does is lay around. I went and bought him some dewormer and gave it to him this morning. So far he hasnt pooped since then. How long does it take to start working, and what can I do about getting him to eat or drink? he is looking pitiful and I cant take him to the vet until next week when I get paid.

i know it cant be good for my dog to just lay around and watch tv all day. we have a back yard but the only time she goes outside is to go to the bathroom. i have tried to go out there with her and play but she just plays for a few minutes and lays down. i have tried all different kinds of games but she just loves to sleep and just lay there. everyon in my house sleeps at different times and she is always with whoever is sleeping. the only time she wants to do anything is when we take her for a walk or take her on car ride. we do those things very oftem but i still think she should get more excersize. my sisters dogs run all around the house and in the back yard and go for walks i understand that every dof is different but is this normal. we have seen the vet and she doesnt have any health problems. she gets mor attntion then any dog in the world we are always talking to her and petting her and there is always someone home. how can i get her to be more active. or is this okay.

I'm dogsitting a terrier, tomatoes make him sick and he got into some leftover spaghetti with sauce. Now he is puking and has diarreah. I dont have $$ to take him to vet. I just want to know if it is going to go away on its own or if I can give him something that will help him get through his sickness.

Alright, so I wanna know a few things. Like, can dogs watch tv? My husband said that he thought he heard someone tell him along time ago, that dogs couldnt see what was on tv.

Although, my dog.. She sleeps and just lays around alot. She is lazy... is this normal?

Well, thats only a couple of things not a few, but ohh well.

I know that some ppl take hold of the scruff of the neck of a dog and use it as a technique of training in some aggressiveness but I have a friend who allows there daughter to carry there 6 month old mini pin around all the time. I was wondering, will that cause any permanent physical harm to the dog?
