Alright, so I wanna know a few things. Like, can dogs watch tv? My husband said that he thought he heard someone tell him along time ago, that dogs couldnt see what was on tv.
Although, my dog.. She sleeps and just lays around alot. She is lazy... is this normal?
Well, thats only a couple of things not a few, but ohh well.

I don't know for certain, but I believe dogs can see the TV...they make DVD's for dogs now and my dog and cat both will watch things move across the screen at times. As far as the sleeping a lot, your dog could have a disease or condition causing this. There are a lot of things that cause a lack of energy. You need to get her to the vet for a checkup.

I'm pretty sure that dogs can watch tv, it might not come out looking the same way we see it, but I'm sure they can, and secondly, if your dog is old, then yes this normal, and if you've taken it to the vet, and they say nothing is wrong, then you're dog is probably just lazy lol, : )

Yes dogs can watch TV.
Depending on how old, what breed your dog is. Most dogs sleep up to 18 hours a day. Good luck.

Yeah, dogs can watch T.V.,my dogs loves anything on Animal Planet and Hanah Montana lol. She's also quite acouch potatoe. Some dogs are just naturally lazy. You can change that by slowly putting the dog into a more active and hyper lifestyle.

Well some dogs are more active that others. What kind of dog do you have? Make sure to give her plenty of walks. I have a zu and she lays around a lot. Make sure that she is not sick!

dogs can watch tv. One of mine does-she chases things that go off screen-like if some one throws a ball or a frisbee and the object goes off the screen, she will follow it.
My other dog is lazy. She is also obese, which may be part of her problem. Is your dog fat?

I have 2 dogs and one watches television and the other doesn't. The one who does watch, reacts to certain weird noises (like "boings" and electronic buzzers) or other animals. She never cares if she sees humans on the television. She will usually bark when she sees another animal or does a cute funny face when she hears a strange noise.

Yes they can see what is on TV, it might be in black and white. My dog occasionally watches TV, especially when there are other dogs on the show.
