Yesterday, I took my four yorkie pups to the vet to have their first set of shots. While waiting several people came over to pet them (especially kids). A gentleman (just another customer, not vet staff) approached me and told me that I shouldn't allow people to pet such young pups it could make the pups sick. Should I be worried? The vet won't reopen until tomorrow and I'm a little worried.

My husband has 4 yorkies that dispite extensive training will not be housebroke. Thus they potty in the floor alot especially when we are at work. I have devoloped lots of headaches and asthma. Does anyone have any suggestions? I clean the carpet all the time I keep them put up as much as possible. But I am wondering if this is a major health hazard as well.

shes at a sleepover. do i call/go to her now or wait till morn?
Should i wait till she gets home at 3pm? toby came out to greet me when i pulled up, like always. my car slipped out of park and she was under the tire. I was already out of the car and couldnt get back in quick enough. I was trying to hold the car back with body. I couldnt stop it from rolling. My ten year old is very very attached to dog. I dont even know what to say to her... should i tell her we will go get another. what do i do with the dog? should we bury him? I have never experienced something like this and am very upset. please give me any advice...

It used to be my dog would occasionally eat a box of cereal or two, but we blocked him out of the kitchen & last night he ate a hole in our $2000 tempurpedic matress. We have a crate we're going to keep him in now when we go out, but I don't want to have to do that forever. We're also not letting him sleep with us anymore since he ate the mattress which is a big change for him. What should I do?

He barks everytime we put him in the crate, sometimes for maybe 5 minutes, sometimes for longer. And he doesn't really go in there even when we leave the door open the whole time. Sometimes i put some new toys and treats in there, he'll run in there, grab it and run back out. What can i do to help him like his crate? I'm worried that he really hates it!

I've asked a question about why cats are so popular, and one answer seems to crop up a lot, because they don't have to be walked especially in bad weather. First of all that seems as though people want a pet without any real responsibility, and second of all, what's wrong with walking in the sun, the rain and the snow, or any weather for that matter? It's better than parking your backside too often, surely? And yes, I do realise that some people can't get out of their homes and rely on felines for companionship.

While I abhor the treatment of the greyhounds, I have never seen one run and would really like to. Now I live near a race track. I would like to go just once and I thought that maybe by donating an equal amount to greyhound rescue as I would spend at the track, that might make it ethically okay for me to go.
I would like some feedback on this other than "I dunno" or "why do you ask?".

He is half pit half wrinkly face and hits himself in the face with his own tail. He loves all dogs except for bulldogs in which he always growls at for some reason. He runs from little dogs and can outswim your dog anyday. HIs head swivels 90 degrees when I say outside and will then begin looking for anything quasi-related to a toy and will not leave my roommates cat alone even being while being clawed in the face. He just wants to play with you kitty thats all you dont have to get your claws stuck in his wrinkly face. He will scare little dog owners so they pick up their dogs and huff and puff, he just wants to play come on bag lady please let me play with the rat you call a dog pllleeaaaassseee he says. So MIlo when I get home we have to get you nuetered and you'll always have this proving that I dont hate you after all.

Where can I find a small puppy for adoption or sale for under 400 dollars? It doesn't have to be purebreed or anything, I just want a little lapdog (my little bros afraid of big dogs, and we live in a small apartment). I live in Celina, OH and don't want to travel far to pick it up. I hope to get a puppy by my birthday in November. Please help, any info on how to find one would be greatly appriciated
