chocolate contains theobromine, an alkaloid that dogs can't metabolize quickly. If a dog ingests a large amount of chocolate, the theobromine can build up and reach a toxic level of concentration, leading to cardiac arrest. Different types of chocolate are more harmful than others, and the effects will vary, depending upon the size and weight of the dog. However, it is potentially lethal.
If you know your dog has ingested chocolate (signs of chocolate poisoning include vomiting, diarrhea, excessive urination, a quick heart rate, and rapid breathing) take him to a vet immediately.

He'll be fine. It takes a large amount of chocolate to hurt a dog and there isn't truly that much chocolate in a Hershey kiss. Not recommended for a regular diet, though! I believe it's the caffeine action in chocolate that is the problem. Google "chocolate and dogs"

Youy should avoid feeding a dog chocolate candy or things that contain chocolate because it is bad for their kidneys. In the case you mentioned, do nothing except observe the animal for the next few days and give it normal milk, and lots of water. I do not think any immediate harm will result. My dog has eaten several hershey bars on occasion with no dire result.

he'll be ok, but will most likely be sick and have diarea for a day or two. It's never good idea to let them have chocolate. If you're not too sure or the puppy seems to be really sick call the vet it would be cheaper to ask a question or two than have to wait in the office for a long time and pay a visit fee if they just say to wait it out

lol gredy thing he will b alright as most of the people have said.
One of the reaons why humen choclate is bad 4 animals is it is 2 rich and high in fat!! (Although the other answers r right as well)Dog choclate is much blander and lower in fat.
It's all so worth knowing that feeding your animal small amounts of humen food will cause no ill affect's. I have a cat and every so often i have fish and chips and i give a chip or 2 2 my cat, he also likes custed cream biscit's so i let him have a little chunk or 2 now and again as a treat!! Although as your dog is very young i would keep all humon food out of his reach untill he's a bit older like a year then u can introduce him 2 humon foods!!
The ideal feding range 4 humon food is 1-2 a week maby more if your dog is very active!! jus try not 2 let him eat chocolate.

He'll be fine. He'll just have some really bad diarhea, and start crying because he'll want more Hersheys. Just give him plenty of water and do not praise him with chocolate. Buy his some doggy biscuits instead, lol.
