Until the wild dog problem is solved, don't be buying another dog to sacrifice to them. That's not responsible pet ownership. Please, contact someone in the community to see what can be done to eliminate the wild vicious dogs first.

you should provide them an similar wearing danger they provide the fox. Wait till they leave their residences, board them as a lot as make confident at the same time as you've the hounds about the Hunters won't be able to cover back in thier secure havens, then hunt them. I advise, in the adventure that they block up fox holes at evening so the fox is out, why won't be able to we make confident they are going to be there. And to three of those who say they provide the fox a struggling with danger... that is crap. I actually have a chum who lives contained in the country and that i recognize how they hunt the fox. they haven't any danger hostile to 12 hounds, a handfull of horses and no way of hiding if want be, beacuse they have been searching all evening, they're too drained to run away. How is that a struggling with danger?

If she really loved her weenie, and you look for another you may not want a clone.
Perhaps a liver or blue merle would be a better choice.
Dachshund come in a lot of beautiful coats and colors.
Also, I just adopted a black and tan from my neighbors.
We're on the Northshore, Im not sure where converse is. :[
If you'd be willing to make the trip, please email me and I will ask if the puppies are still availible and how much they cost (mine was a gift so I dont know prices :P )

I am sitting next to my wife's dauchshund. He's been here for a couple years. We found him through a Dachshund Rescue organization.
There are several organizations that serve different locations. Many have websites.
Google "Dachshund Rescue" and you'll come up with organizations for where you live.

You can't buy a dog on ebay. The real name for the dog is dachshund. I found a dachshund breeder in LA, though I am not sure how close to you it is...

Let her get over it first, and let her pick out the dog, because she will know if she likes the new one or not.
And I don't recommend putting your email or location on the net,,,,too many strange people out in the world.
