He has overcome many issues under my care. In June he lost half his body weight but I have managed to get it back up slowly.

He moves slowly...walks slow, takes a long time to sit down or lay down, rarely jumps, etc.

my cat is about 10/11 yrs old and hes a white cat, yesterday evening his eyes were weird and it freaked me out, because you know when cats have an operation and when they are half awake after it, there eyes look weird, hes been doing that, and when i called him he came to me but he missed my hand to stroke him and i did it again and he walked straight passed it, and im not sure whether thats a sign of him going blind, but im not sure, help please if you know anything.
My 2nd worry is that this morning i called him and he didnt respond to me like he has gone deaf because his ears never moved when they hear sounds.
i need help if you know what the problem is, please help?

So here is my problem I took in a stray kitten around 3 months ago, I know she is not very old due to her size and my vet thinks she is around 8 months. I'm now sure she is pregnant. I first thought she was just getting fat, she has always been very loving, but now all other cats are fighting with her.
She is eating loads, loves her belly being stroked, she has pink nipples and did have a solid tummy. now I have been away as my mum was unwell and since I have got back her lower tummy is saggy (where the milk would normally build up) but her sides are still solid. any ideas or advice on whats going on? xXx

My cat is a very loving cat. I found him on halloween night very hungry and just really scared so I brought him home. I figured he needed a really good home. I fed him a can of 9 lives cat food thats what i feed my outher cat that i have had for three years .He seemed to love it . I noticed that same night he had gas so I assumed it was just because he was a stray and having the food after not having any for a while upset his stomach . But that is not the case it is a month and a half later and he still has gas, oh and its awful its way worse than my husband it consumes the whole room. I just would love to snuggle him and pet him but he farts like right on me. I almost puked it smelt so bad does any one have an answer to this problem? He is a wonderful cat he just is a little stinker.

My cats have been scratching a lot lately, and I put flea medicine on them, but it didn't seem to help.

Now I just noticed these tiny black worms where my cats lay, and I am totally freaking out! They're a couple centimeters long and there's a lot of them.

It's too late to call the vet right now. What the hell are these things?!

The kids say it sounds scratchy or garbled, breaks a little, but when I hear it, he kind of trillls a little. It's cold outside; maybe just a cold? No discharge from eyes or nose. He also got kind of aggressive with another cat (gender unknown) and he is usually very docile. He is not neutered yet -- we are on a waiting list which is months long. I am pretty sure there are females in heat and he is simply going hormonal, but is erratic behavior and a completely different voice common for males? He about one year old. I wonder if this is some kind of "puberty" thing -- do cats go through puberty?
We are also contemplating taking him to the vet to make sure he hasn't contracted anything, but we would appreciate any ideas on what could be going on. When we took him to the vet last year to be vaccinated, they said he was too young, so we just thought we would keep him indoors until we could get him fixed (and just get his shots then -- time and money are always an issue).

I have 3 healthy kittens and thei're mother has just been ran over (words can't express what I feel). I live in a backwater place where there aren't any vets qualified with cats. Another big problem is that it would take at least a month for a can of kitten formula to get where I live (don't move to the caribbean).

I know they are intolerant so sucrose and lactose, are other sugars okay? I read somewhere that that pure chicken baby food is okay (maybe not for 18 days though). I'm planning on scraping off bits from vitamin suplaments, easy on the iron though.

Thank you.

P.S. my father is an asshat that insists red bull is a good way to give them taurine...

I have a 1yr old male cat. he has been neutered. He has all his shots up to date. He is drooling heavely, dry heaving, acting lethargic & his eye balls are slightly twitching. The vet will not see him untill tomorrow.
In June I had to put down my best friend shortly after having the same symptoms. The two have never been in the house @ the same time. Fatters(1st Kitty) had all the same symptoms & we ended up taking him to 2 vets. Both did blood work & X-rays & said they could find nothing. One sugested fatters had gotten into some poison outside. The next day he had what seemed like a seziure. Again the vet did not know. He sugested it was somthing nerological. After the seziure fatters could not walk or sit up without falling over. It was as if he had drinken a pint of whiskey. A month latter we had him put down.
Oct we got Tice Kitty He has had all his shots, is neutered.
but a little over weight hes never been outside. What is happening? Im scared the Vet wont know again.HELP

My cat, about 3 or 4 years old, is like a siamese-mix cat. It sleeps in my room, and the kitty litter box is in my bathroom. He thinks that the amount of hair is too much, and that I will get sick from the cat. However, I have no allergy to cats. What should I tell him to convince him that we shouldn't give our cat away? Should I move the kitty litter box or something? Thanks.

My kitten is 7 months old. He has had bad breath for some time, but I brush his teeth regularly and give him anti-tartar treats. I also feed him dry food vs. wet food. He's a talker, but he's been crying a lot more lately. I just looked in his mouth, and he is losing a BIG tooth in the back on the left side. What's wrong? Does he need Vet attention? Should I just let it fall out? Help me please! He's my best friend and I don't want him to be in pain. Can I give him some Orajel or something?

I have 2 4-yr old indoor only male cats. 1 of them has a chronic autoimmune disease and gets a corticosteroid (Prednioslone) daily.

I've been feeding Iams canned and dry food, but recently read a book about cat nutrtion and found that the dry food is horrible. Yahoo Answerers have said that Innova Evo dry food is the best, and I looked at the ingredients and thy do seem good. The only thing I'm concerned about is the high fat content.

Do you think this is OK to give? Are there any other brands that are better?

About how much does Innova Evo cost?

Thanks for your help!

My friend adopted a cat from a local animal shelter and was told at the time he adopted her that she was spayed.

This morning, she gave birth to eight kittens.

My friend's cat has diarrhea (Going on the third day) and the cat had vomiting (it stopped, only lasted 4 hours, vomitted 4 times FRIDAY NIGHT). She found it outside and already has cats who are healthy. We are thinking that it picked something up from her cats. The cat is eating tuna, will not touch the dry food and drinking normally. She took it to the SPCA and the vet approved the pepto, but did not tell her how often. It seems like he is getting better, but needs something for the loose stool HELP!

The problem she has developed little sores on her neck and can't stop scratching them. The collar is not tight. What would you recommend to use to help her feel more comfortable? Is there any alternative to the collar? Thanks

I ahve been caring for a kitten I found when she was 2 days old. She is now 7 weeks old and has something wrong with her. She has lost alot of weight and is very "out of it." We have taken her to the vet and he gave us some nutrition cat food and told us to pump her full of fluilds like gatoraid and k-row (I know I spelled it way wrong). We also were told to giver her corn oil to help with bowel movement. However, through all of this the vet dosent know what my kitten has. Can anyone help? I dont want her to die. She was knocking on deaths door the day we took her to the vet. She has gained a little weight since weve been feeding her and filling her with fluids. What could she have? Please help!!!
