Hire a petsitter to come to your home a couple times a day to feed, water, and play with your cat and empty the litterbox. Your cat will be at home, where he feels most comfortable, and won't be stuck in a kennel all day while you are gone. This could be even cheaper than boarding him.

the best would be for a friend or family member to stop by your house and feed/water your kitty and scoop her litter box and give her some attention. The cat will be much more comfortable at home.

If this isnt an option you can board her at a local vets office or pet hotel. Bring her own food and some of her own litter so she has stuff she is used to. You may also want to bring a toy or two and one of your used pillow cases (it has to be used to it smells like you) this will help her not miss you as much.

Good Luck

don't put it in a kennel, it will be kept in a small cage all day with no room to roam.

Instead, call a friend or post an add on craigslist. Pay the person about 10-15 a day. and rest happy knowing your cat is at your home safe and happy.

if you live in denver, e-mail me, i can watch him/her, i do it all the time for my neighbors.

Call your vet or a place for boarding.
If you are only going to be away for 2 days, you can leave it at home with plenty of water and food.
Or if it is going to be longer than 2 days, have someone come in daily to check on him/her with food and water.

I would get a neighborhood child to take care of your cat while leaving it at your house. It is cheaper than the vet, and you animal can stay in its own habitat (pay 10-25 a day).
