After a cat's neutered it can take up to 6 months for them to actually become infertile. So despite what everyone else is saying he can still get her pregnant. It's best to keep them separate just in case.
Also in response to the answer above in the UK at least, a good vet will not spay your cat if shes pregnant

Yes; some viable sperm will still remain in his semen for some time. But a female carries her litter for 63 days, so if she gets pregnant now, and you're having her spayed next month anyway, the spay will do away with the fetuses. I know that sounds harsh, but it's better than bringing live kitties into the world who might not get good homes!

Some viable sperm will remain in his system up to a week after neutering, so it's possible although rather unlikely. You might want to talk to the vet who will be doing the spay, about what to do if she turns up pregnant.

i would keep them seperate. he can still get her pregnant for a certain period of time. this is especially likely if she is in heat. you are doing te right thing by getting them both fixed. and good for you for thinkin gof this because a lot of people do not.

Yes, same as a man, he can for a period of time after his neutering. Best to keep them apart. It's a small chance, but it can happen... and has.

no he can still perform if he wants but mostly they don't..the female although receptive will only get pregnant from an un-neutered cat..as it is the gonads that produce the sperm..

Actually, they can. It is not common, but generally you keep them seperate for 30 days after. Of course, if she is getting spayed anyway, why bother.

No, he can't get her pregnant. I asked the same question of my vet when I had the same situation, so I don't think it's a daft question.
