But.. i live in a caravan (a big 1 yes but its still not as big as a house) so would it be fair to let it stay in all day? and don't forget i live on a very secured site so my cat would be ok if it stayed on the site. Its very luxury (The site and the caravan) put it this way my mum and dad would of been in a better financial situation if they had bought a house! so should i let it out or not? what do you think? Thanx JESS x

I have a cat that has come to my house and Ive taken him in. He now lives with us permanantly but we dont know what age he is. Is there any quizzes or anything you can link me to so we can estimate? He has yellowish teeth but not bad(ive seen cats with a lot worse), a good thick coat(my mum gives him good cat food) and his eyes look very clear. He is quite a slow cat though and has recently fallen while jumping up on a unit.

My cat likes to lick the chocolate from digestive biscuits, maltesers etc and I wondered if this was ok for him.He doesn't ever suffer from diahorrea unless I change his cat food so I don't know if it's a problem.

Hello everyone. My family and I currently own 6 cats that found our house in one way or another and we are blessed to have them in our family. Recently, actually yesterday, I was out in the backyard and found a mother cat with her two baby kittens. Two of our cats that are living in our house were left in our backyard previously by this same mother. Now, I was just wondering what advice you guys had. I feel really bad leaving them out there but I know that the mother is more than capable of raising her kittens. We left some food out for them and leave wet food for the kittens. I was just wondering if you guys know whether or not our touching the kittens will cause the mother cat to abandon her young? I really wouldn't want this to happen due to my impatient nature. 6 weeks from now we are going to see if the mother will let us take her in and have her spayed since she is feral and I don't want her to constantly give birth to more kittens each mating season. Let me know about any advice

My kitten's baby teeth are coming in. She has been really depressed and sleepy for 3 days now. She wont eat or drink anything. I have been force feeding her by hand and also giving her Nutrical. At 3:30 in the morning she woke up and was just fine, was her usual self and went and ate and everything by herself. She was fine all day up until about 3 hours ago. Now she is acting like she is in pain again. Does this mean the teeth are now coming in where the others just fell out. I have two other cats and neither of them acted this way when their teeth were coming in; I never even noticed. Should I take her to the vet or should I continue to do what I have been doing and maybe it will be better in a day or two? Could I maybe put baby oragel on her gums? Is this normal for her to be in so much pain? Could it maybe be something other than her teeth? Thanks.

In the last question, I asked about girl cats becoming friends success stories. Now the older cat (Puddin'), who is new, is bullying the 5-month-old kitten (Gibby) a little bit. Puddin' will stare Gibby down and chase her and swat at her. Gibby seems to be submitting and actually looks scared. They are ok when both are calm and lying down and can be within a foot of each other, but when one makes a sudden movement, such as jump up or starting running, then a lot of hissing and swatting begin. Both cats seem to be eating and using the litter box alright. When I'm at work, I let them both roam around the apartment.

Has anyone had similar experience? Should I be worried for my younger cat when I'm at work?

I got rid of the cats because i have a 20 month-old son and i a pregnant. The cats never went outside so i dont know how they got them in the first place. I used everything i could find to get rid of the fleas on the cats before i got rid of them. I used sprays, shampoos, foaming shampoos. But, after I got rid of my cats I bombed the house hoping to get rid of the fleas. For some reason it did not work and I let the foggers sit for 3 extra hours. Are there any suggestions out there?

Kittens are 9 wks. old., and we have fleas everywhere. Washing with dawn soap and flea combing was really useless! Once the kittens were wet, I could see lots of fleas, but they stuck to the kittens' skin, and would not come out with a flea comb (I could catch maybe 3 fleas out of 50 with flea comb and dawn). The mother cat and kittens clawed me real good, and some bit me. I'm well aware of the flea life cycle, and the fact that the environment has to also be throughly cleaned on regular basis. However, I really need to get those fleas off the animals too (it's really bothering them). I don't want to use any heavy chemicals. Some natural stuff is toxic too. I use Diatomeceous Earth on the carpet and the couch some times, and each time cough, and have headache for several days. I've tried vinegar and water, lemon wash, etc.; nothing has worked that well. Can anyone suggest something non toxic for the kitties? Does Cedar oil sprays really work? (they are expensive ).

We have some expensive and new furniture and if the kitten scratches it, the kitten goes. So how can I get the kitten not to be so destructive and how can I keep that to a minimum?

My 18 month old neutered male cat is excellent in every way, except that he's always underfoot. He thinks nothing of plopping himself down in the middle of the kitchen during frantic food preparations. He will silently follow me into the bathroom late at night and sit in the middle of the room in the dark. Sometimes, when he's in the middle of the hallway, and I'm about to step over him, he' stretch out a paw or even his head and put it right where I'm about to step. I haven't stepped on him in any serious way yet, but I'm afraid I will sometime and really hurt or even kill him accidentally. Any suggestions?

This is a really well-trained cat---he comes when called, "sits" on command, and will play fetch with a toy. But I can't figure out how to teach him that he needs to avoid being stepped on.

She loves me but doesn't like any strangers. She doesn't get along with my parents, who I live with cause I'm 12, or my grandma, Queen of Felines. I don't want her to calm down, that's not like my girl. I want to train her to get along.
