When i'm petting my cat, she sometimes starts kicking me with her back claws and nawing on my hand. She'll go from biting me to licking my hand. She does it lightly and it doesnt break the skin, but it seems rather aggressive for her. She wants pets, cause she'll rub her head against my hand. Why is she doing this?

Tuesday night my cat who was 8 was vomiting up white foamy looking stuff, she died over night. She was an inside cat and hadn't been poisoned(which was my first thought). I buried her Wednesday morning. I am very upset, I got her when she was 6 weeks old and she died too young for a cat. If anyone knows what the white foamy stuff could be, could you please tell me. I don't know that there was anything I could have done to save my cat, I just have to realize that she is in a better place but if anyone has any idea about what might have happened please let me know.

We just got this cat one month ago and unfortunately we had to go out of town shortly after we adopted him. My mom house sat for me and fed him and our other female cat. He is an indoor outdoor but my mom would not let him out during our trip so he peed all over the house. I didn't hold it against him because I thought he was upset because no one would let him out and he was in a new environment. Well since we have returned this guy pees everytime he gets mad at anything at all. Last night his food bowl was empty (during the middle of the night) and he decided he was going to pee on our bed with my husband and I in it. My other cat and him get along really well and I hate to get rid of him but I can't keep up the cleaning. Does anyone have any advice on how to stop this behavior? Please help, thank you!

I need help catching these cats and either getting them fixed or taking them to a shelter.

If you could read this long (sorry) post and respond that would be very helpful.

I have two female cats who are sisters and 1.5 years old. Also, they are both fixed. They are extremely loving to each other all the time, except when they play fight. Out of no where they both started acting weird yesterday:

Cat 1 became vary lethargic and looked really tired. She doesn't seem to limp or favor any part of her body when walking. She also doesn't have any visible wounds and isn't licking any part of her body as if hurt. But she doesn't meow in happiness when I enter the room and won't come to me when I call (both things she does regularly). But she slept all last night on my bed and still seems very tired.

Cat 2 is acting pretty much normal around me, but when her sister is anywhere near she hisses and growls at her constantly. She even took a swipe at her sister this morning. She has never acted this way.

I was wondering what could possibly cause this?

I have a shelter cat I adopted a few months ago (thanks for all the helpful answers by the way since I got her) But I can't seem to free feed her, because when I do she eats almost everything that is there and then vomits.

She has marked tartar so I am assuming her old owners fed her wet food and I only feed her dry food.

Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance!

We have 6 cats and live out in the country. Our cats are indoor/outdoor. This past week one of our cats came home and had been shot in the right shoulder, being the second of our cats this has happened to in the last 8 months. Both cats had to have their right arms amputated. There are only 6 people on my street, and we have talked with them about the possibility of our cats being a nuiciance, and to let us know if they want them kept away. All of our neighbors claimed they didn't mind our cats one bit. Most of the cats stay in our yard anyway, or hang out in the woods.
We just found out a nasty old man lives way back in those same woods with his mangy dog, and he likes to shoot things on his property. I called our sheriff's office and was informed he has the right to shoot anything on his property, because there is a leash law in this state!!

This just seems rediculous to me. Is this just the backwards state I live in, or is this law common elsewhere?

My cat gets these coldsore like lumps on her lip like every week and ive took her to the vets and it cost me £40 for some antibiotics to help calm it down and they didnt even work very well....but he said there is no known cure for it! and i feel so bad for her cause she looks awful bless her but she doesnt seem to be in any pain.... but it must be pretty uncomfortable like a really annoying spot on your nose or something..... i tried putting zovirax(however u spell it) on it but all she does is lick it off!!...... but the vet before said it was like a cat version of a coldsore and i didnt know a way i can help calm it down without spending £40 a week on antibiotics and constantly taking her to the vets..... cus these tablets and stuff dont really help.....
so if anyone knows how to help coldsores.... i will try anything!

Thanks xx:)

A vet has moved in next door and she has six cats, That I don't have a problem with, however since her arrival I have cat droppings in my garden constantly! I don't own animals because I don't want the responsibility of cleaning their mess. I also have a curious one year old and if she found mess she'd probably pick it up and catch something, this should'nt be are problem!
Why are cats allowed to roam and do what they want? Dogs cant!
Whats the best way to rid myself of the unwanted felines?
Without shooting them or maiming please. Although tempting, thats not my style.

Whenever there is some sort of scary noise or something that sort of scares him out of his normal comfort level he seems to throw up about an hour or a little less later. For instance, when we used our new vacuum for the first time he got scared and ran away and then about an hour later threw up. And two days ago they were trimming trees outside of my window and it was making a loud noise, and he became visibly nervous (moving around, not sitting in one place, wouldn't let me hold him) and about an hour later he vomited. Could nervousness be causing him to vomit?

I have a cat that I've had since she was 8 weeks old; now she's almost 4 years old. We let her come and go as she pleases, and she's never been pregnant. When we adopted her from the animal shelter, they told us that she hadn't been spayed yet because she was too young, but when she never became pregnant, I took her to the vet and he verified that she had not been spayed. So, I've always assumed that she's infertile, but now I think she might be pregnant. I'm very confused. Any ideas?

My 12 years old cat is going for surgery. I have to call the vet to ask a few questions and costs. Has any had their kitty have dental surgery (tooth extraction). How much was it? It is stressful? How long will it take for him to get better?

They go under the sofa and have ripped through the cloth. Does anybody know what I can use as a training device to stop them from doing that? They've ruined several couches and box springs.

Thanks.

Mine has stolen:

- Lighers

- Cigarettes

- Bullets *

- Gun Clips *

- Underwear

- Knives

- Scissors

- Anything else that counts as sharp including shaving razors. (Fortunately she has never harmed herself)

- Her ear medicine

She also steals the TV. She apparently doesn't always like our programing and sits on the remote until the channel changes. She likes nature shows with lots of animals especially bears.

* We did not have weapons or bullets out where she could have easy access to. We eventually had to put them in a high cabinet and tape the door shut to make sure she couldn't get to them. When we cleaned under the couch and found her "stash" we found that she had still gotten some. They are now in the gun safe.
