Tuesday night my cat who was 8 was vomiting up white foamy looking stuff, she died over night. She was an inside cat and hadn't been poisoned(which was my first thought). I buried her Wednesday morning. I am very upset, I got her when she was 6 weeks old and she died too young for a cat. If anyone knows what the white foamy stuff could be, could you please tell me. I don't know that there was anything I could have done to save my cat, I just have to realize that she is in a better place but if anyone has any idea about what might have happened please let me know.

i'm very sorry to hear about your loss.. our pets give us so much love, don't they?

thing about cats is, sometimes they are ill and we don't even realize it... they seem to keep their pain to themselves.

im sure you gave her a very good life. i know you'll miss her terribly.

i think that, the only way to know the true cause of her death would be an autopsy... i think it could have been any number of things which caused her death? even heart problems.

i hope you can be content that she walked through you life and gave you many good memories... i'm truly sorry.

hugs

TAKE IT TO THE VET!?!?! DO YOU EVEN READ THE QUESTIONS???

Im sorry your cat died :( sounds like it could have had something caught in its throat and eventually choked. The foamy stuff was just spit.cats tend to gag alot when they have anything irritating in its throat even a hair ball.
Sorry again :( Losing a pet is really hard.

You may want to call you vet to see if they have any ideas as to what happened. You may also want to request a necropsy (the animal version of an autopsy) to be performed - ask the vet clinic, if they do not perform necropsies they can refer you. However, a necropsy will be an added expense and is completely up to you.

Sorry about your kitty :(

It's was probably bile reflux. Maybe she choked herself with it. You ever had acid reflux, you know how easy it is to choke from it, it's so bitter. Sorry for your lost.
