I have trained my cats to sit, lay down, and jump through hoops. Short sessions daily are key and of course patience.

If you feel like emailing me I will send you more information over time.
I have Six cats trust me they can be trained!

Yes, cats are trainable. Ours has been trained not to yowl when it's not light outside (or we get a first class ticket to the garage). She's also trained to stay away from Mom's pillow, or you get dropped/tossed off the bed. Instead of having her slap us when she's ready to be let down, we taught her to "give us kisses" that is, poke our nose with her nose. When she pokes, she gets put down immediately.

Attacking cats are not funny. Analyze the situation and see if your sister is coming between the cat and something she wants, or not opening the door when the cat wants out...

If your cat enjoys treats, have your sister sit out in the middle of the floor and put about 3 treats in front of her. Then she completely ignores the cat. No motions toward the cat at all. Each night gets closer to your sister. Eventually, she can have the cat eating out of her hand and sitting in her lap to have treats. The trick is to never violate the cat's will, dont' do anything sudden. She won't trust you if you do.

Then, she plays with the cat. No cat can resist a string, no matter who's on the other end. Play with her for a little while, it will become a tradition (the cat will wait for it). The more she feeds the cat and plays with the cat, the cat will come to trust her and let her pick her up.

Tell your sister to talk to the cat. Hi, Booboo! Did you have a good day? You been out chasing mice again? Did you bring one home for me? Such a sweet kitty cat. The sing-song tone of voice calms the cat.

Cats are trainable, but they tend to be much more reward ariented; this means you need to keep giving them treats when they do the right thing. If all they get is praise or a clicking noise, after a while they stop doing it; making you happy is *not* one of their priorities!

Unfortunately what you've described is fairly complex training, more so for a cat. You're going to need to work with a professional; even if I knew how to do that, there's not enough room here to explain it.

You might be able to train the cat to *avoid* your sister altogether (by aversion conditioning) but that's about it.

Clickers are what I used to train my little kitten a few years back. I believe you can find books on it for a few dollars at your local petco/petsmart. Plus, the clickers are cheap, like 50 cents, so if you lose it before your done training, no big deal.

For the last time!!!!!!!!! You can't train cats! They own you! You can only keep them from doing things they aren't supposed to.

like dogs you reward them after they do what you want, i mean, i trained my cat to respond to her name, chase after a piece of string and come when i ask her to.

but i started traing her at like a few months old. some cats can be really stubborn, so it wont be easy.

but after they chased after a piece of string and jumped over what i wanted to, they got tired and lost some weight.

Yes if you start them out while their young and continue. I found it to be a little harder when their older.
