We love her dearly. She is in a home with 4 other cats. The other 4 cats are mom and 3 of her babies. This one was the only non-member. But she had the heart to be gentle to the 3 babies after they grew up and mom did not want them to get near her after she weaned them. This precious cat took on the 3 young cats under her wing and groomed them and nurtured them as you would not believe.

Now she is dying of lung cancer. She is breathing with labor. We estimate about 2-3 weeks of life in her is remaning.

We are starting to take her photos and videos for the future. But we are also thinking about burying versus cremating her when she leaves us.

I would like to know if people who have buried their pet have remorsed doing that and should have cremated instead so the pet is still "around". Or vice versa. I do not want to feel any more pain and I do not want her to experience the pain that may be associated with cremation.

Please help!

Teary-eyed,

Rizwan

Once or twice?

My friend's kitty just had her first litter of babies, and as soon as the kittens are weaned, the queen is gonna have her plumbing - fixed.

Anyway, the kittens are all adorable, they all have little white socks up to their elbows and knees, they all have little pink noses and darling little pink toes, they all have fluffy tails.

I want to take one home, but I already have three cats.

My friend wants to give me one, she already has more than enough people who want to buy the kittens.

I haven't had a kitten in a very very long time, all my cats were rescued from shelters, except for the kittens I had when I was a kid a long long looong time ago.

They're all so cute, not one is the same colour and not one is grumpy.

He's a 5 month old kitten. We took him to the vet yesterday to get his second set of shots. He got the distemper and leukemia vaccination. He was fine yesterday but this morning he is very anti social (Very different than normal) he is vomiting this yellow liquid, and his paws feel hot and when he licked my hand his tongue felt hot. All he wants to do is sleep on my bed, which he doesn't normally do, and he doesn't want to be held which he always likes. He will let me pet him for a moment then cries and moves away. He wont eat or drink anything. Could this have to do with the vaccinations?

I have two other cats that are now living with my children, so I have been through a lot with cats in the past but I have never seen a cat seem to have a fever before.

I have a visiting old stray cat and most of the times he visits he sprays. He's too old to train not to- he's on his last legs I think. Have you any practical tips to try and kill the smell because I find it still lingers even after lots of scrubbing at the spot.

I don't think it is the cat food scare as I have other cats eating the same food and they are fine. The vet gave them drops for the congestion and a pill to stop the inflammation in their throats. The medicine made one of them much worse so I stopped the medicine and it became better....but I still have 5 coughing and sneezing cats and have no idea what is causing this. Not going back to the vet as he charged $80.00 and they were worse than before I took them. Can anyone please help? They eat Friskies dry food and once a week have a little Friskies moist. There are no chemicals around them. They stay indoors. One ate a spider and spit it out before this all happened but that is all I have seen. The weather has been very irratic. Going from very hot in the day to fairly cold at night. Could that be it? The change in weather caused a cold? I'd appreciate any answers. Thanks!

It's just so annoying. My 7 months old male cat likes to jump onto our dining table. We can't leave any food on the table out of our sight for a minute. He sits on the table and looks at us eventhough the table is clean.

My boyfriend wants to get me a kitten and I don't think my mom will allow it. We already have a dog that my mom got me for Christmas about 8 years ago, and we share the responsibilities of caring for her between the two of us. I feed her every day and play with her when I come home, but since I almost never take her for walks, my mom doesn't think I'm responsible enough to care for another animal, though I disagree.
I have a job that pays every week and I pay the insurance and gas on my car...assuming I actually get this animal, it will be entirely mine and not a family pet like the dog we have--meaning I will have to pay for food, litter boxes, toys and the like in addition to the other bills I have.
I don't think a kitten will be as demanding as a puppy (though I bet they probably destroy furniture more...), but I don't know what sort of argument to present to my mom to convince her I can handle the responsibility.

What should I say to prove I can handle the extra burden?

I have had three vets check it out, and they seem to find no reason for it... her breath smells like a dead deer. What's the deal?

P.S. She hates meat/meat product. She refuses to eat any wet or canned food. She enjoys bananas and lettuce though. She'll eat dry cat food.

We have recently adopted a male cat who is about 2 years old, and we already have another male cat who is 8 years old. The newer cat is quite big and aggressive, whereas the older is smaller and very passive. They fight anytime they are in the same room. Is there I can do it help the situation?

I just heard that Congress is involved in the recall and now menufoods and FDA are now being investigated by Congress and they are going to find out why they did not say anything earlier and that animals are going to have a voice in this. It was on the News tonight. I was watching the news just now when they said it.

My cat is 1 year old and had a litter of 4 cats, there are 3 other grown cats in my house and she has been attacking them without warning, even when they are no where near the kittens, I dont believe thats its an attempt to protect the kittens because all but one incedent the cats were no where near the litter, is there another reason why? Is there anyway to help her get along with the other cats again?

My mother inlaw took my cats litter box out my daughter's room, saying it it disgusting to be there. I have always put it in the bedrooms since that is where the cats sleep. I see no problem with it and neither does my hubby.

I would rather the cat box be accessible if the cats ever got locked up in a bedroom and them using the carpet or beds to do their business.

What are your opinions on this?
