I have a 6 month old cat. She was acting fine all day then about an hour ago I noticed she was crying (whining) a lot over and over and would not stop. This is not like her. She is rubbing her head back & forth on me, on things. She seems VERY tired. I do not know what to say is wrong with her but something is. I know my cat very well. She is crying as if she is in pain. I have looked over her body, I see nothing. But she is laying on her back rolling around at times crying. This is what she does when shes in pain. I can not afford to take my lil baby to the vet right now so I am going insane. I love her with everything in me. I thought it was her ears or head, I dont know. She seems normal but just in pain?

I'm not a cat person; but isn't it more likely that we as a human race kill more cats than the reverse?

I have a 6 month old kitten, she is very healthy according to her last check up. Although i've noticed that she drinks a lot of water and pees about 7 times a day. I know these are signs of feline diabetes, but she doesn't have any other symptoms, she eats very well, isn't losing any weight and is very active and social. Should i be worried, what could this be?

He now is very aggresive bitting scraching and not at all in a playful way. When he bites he wont let go and when he scraches you have to pull his nails out of your skin. I don't believe hes in pain still. Hes also got a wild look in his eyes its not normal hes a very sweet cat. I'm calling the vet tomorrow but would like some help from you first. Thanks

Ok well my kitten keeps doing bad things like going in the christmas tree going on my gecko cage and all kinds of things. So when he is ever on my gecko cage i have done many things to disipline him such as like making a loud noise when he goes up there and squirting him with water and walkin up and telling him no or just taking him off the cage but whenever i do it he bites and scratches me. And even today this happened OK. So he was on the cage and i walked up to him and immideatly he ran onto the top bunk and i went to tell him no and he started to try to scratch my face and stuff. whenever i disipline him he kills me. even if it isnt my fault if he gets hurt or something he just attacks me... and he is always attaking people who come in my house like he jumps on your leg and claws it to death and if you walk by him he scratches you. but when he isnt inn his moods he is sooo sweet but just for no reason he attacks me...whats wrong with him?

My cat is spraying like crazy, worst of all it's doing it on the counter.

My cat's such a good cat, normaly and doesn't really have any bad habbits other than that. I'd really hate to have to have him nutered, but I'm starting to worry that's the only solution but is there anything else I can try?

I notice it started around when I got it a different brand of litter.. could that be it?

I have tried sprays, collars, baths, drops to the neck, and carpet sprays, yet cannot get rid of my cat's fleas. I don't know, is there another way? Anybody ever been successful in getting rid of them? Please help, my poor kitty is scratching himself to death!!

Back in October, I noticed my kitten was getting ill. Concerned, I took him to my vet and explained EVERYTHING. The vet gave him an antibiotic for his URI, but didn't really address the other concerns, saying the URI was probably leading it all. After competing the antibiotic cycle, he didn't get better. So I took him back, explained EVERYTHING in GREAT detail again, and even asked if he should/could stay a night for observation and was actually laughed at. The vet (another one/same location) prescribed another antibiotic long term and lysene, but said they'd be useless until this round of what they believed was herpes was finished. I was concerned about the kitten's weight, mouth sores and lack of eating but she didn't say much. Two days later my kitten died in a Pet ER. Is 60 days too long to complain? It has honestly taken me that long to face Tiger's horrible, unnecessary death, but I feel like the vet didn't do their job. The ER said he was misdiagnosed and not treated properly.

She is about 4-5 months old. Siomise(spelling?) has her own room and everything she needs. There are 5 people in the home, she hides behind the washer and in her cubby home. I want to hold her but she constantly hisses at me and the rest of the family. We own an older cat who does not even recognize the kitten, when the kitten hears the old cat meow that is the only other time she meows, I want so much for this new cat to fit in

They are almost 2yrs old and currently eat dry indoor formula from self-feeders. They weighed about the same when we adopted them when they were 8wks old.

My family went away for ten days this fall, and a neighbor was taking care of my nine year old cat for us. When we came back, I was shocked. He looked like he'd been starved the whole ten days. But, being an avid mouser who really doesn't eat much dry food, it seemed odd that he'd gotten so skinny.

The neighbor came over, and told me she'd been concerned with his ravenous appettite and drop in weight, and so she'd brought him into her house to watch him and feed him some Thanksgiving turkey. That was when it became apparent that a tape worm was the issue. The cat was taken the next day to the vet, given the dewormer, and all traces of worm are gone. This was Oct.11.

My cat has yet to return to normal. A once avid mouser, he no longer wants to go outside. He seems to have lost all lust for life. Is this normal? Can I expect him to bounce back to normal?

O.K this is what happned, a few days ago my cat who is 10 years old got bitten in the lower back by a dog. I didn't see her until late that night. We took her to the vet, and she got operated on, and had the fluid that was in her drained out, now today, she has a bare back and tubes sticking out of her hips to drain excess fluid. We got her a litter box, deciding we don't want her to go outside that often, and defintley not for the next week. She used to have a litter box when she was younger, but i don't know if she knows how to use it or what it is. How can i show her? Please Help?
