Hi there...the odds of a pet cat killing a person is less likely. Rabies is a rarely seen these days, but still evident, however if a cat walks crosses your pathway and you trip over them (which happens with senior citizens) and hit your head ... this would be another reason. Humans in general kill more animals for various reasons, besides cruelty, overpopulation issues.

The odds are very, very small that a pet cat could maul you to death, if that's what you're asking. I work in Animal Control and I can only think of one instance where I saw a serious bite wound from a cat. Of course, if the cat were carrying a zoonotic disease or just happened to hit the right spot, it could happen.
I'd guess about 60% of cats that are impounded in shelters are euthanized, so yes, humans kill more cats than cats kill humans.

The odds are overwhelmingly small but if a person was extremely allergic to them, the person could die from lack of oxygen when the bronchial tubes closed shut.
As mentioned above, if the cat had rabies, THAT could cause death, if gone untreated.
After that. I don't think a cat(house cat), could kill anyone other than maybe a baby.
I'm not worried.

I agree with the previous answers, but a cat can also kill you if he bites you in a place where an artery passes and you bleed to death before you manage to get to a hospital. The chances for that are extremely low, but if you are an old lady or something it can accidentally happen, like one in 10 billion chances!.

The ONLY way I can think of is rabies or some other communicable disease . I've NEVER heard of an instance of a cat killing a human; rabies or otherwise and yes, we kill MANY more cats than they kill us, if at all.
