I have a femal spayed maincoon cat. She is a princess by morning and a tiger by night. (she thinks) In the day time she will cuddle with everyone but me. If i try holding her petting her, or look at her she will attack! She bites and claws. At night it gets worse. She will hold a grudge. If i bug her during the day she will stalk me all night. then when im walking up the stairs or just about to crawl into bed she will pounce on my leg and sink her teeth into me. She will really draw blood pretty bad. It kills and she sometimes wont let go!! She is not an outside cat at all so she doesnt have rabies... i hope!! My parents and brother think its funny but im sick of it. shes the reason i dont like cats!! help how do i make her stop!!??

My cat is about 11 years old and has lost enough weight that I can feel all his bones on his spine. He is still eating and drinking, but sleeps a lot and has to be forced outside to go potty.

My vet said that brands such as Friskies, Whiskas and Purina were not nutritious and would harm my cat later in life, but recommended the Hills Brand. I did research and found that Hills is somewhat unhealthy too. Which brand of wet or dry foods is best?

After getting hit by a car, I have not let my cat go outside anymore. he can only go out on a lead. trouble is, he wants to stay out longer than i usually have time for. i was considering getting a cat tie-out for the backyard ( so i can watch him through the window and go about my day) but i am nervous that this may not be a good idea. i couldn't bear it if something else happened to him. any ideas?

I live in SF bay area; nights are about 30 degrees F. I recently discovered a little kitty living beneath the bushes/trees of the back yard. I live in a suburb, but have had a skunk, doves, racoons, and now a cat in the backyard. She (or he) is afraid of me, but eats the cat food I leave out every afternoon. I can't get near her. I want to leave something under the bushes to keep her warm at night. A cardboard box and blanket? But how can I keep it waterproof and keep it from being blown over?

She might have might have nibbled on a Poinsetta plant., which I've removed. I took her to a vet, who wanted $300.+ for tests. She is alert, somewhat playful, wants food, just won't drink water. I can't afford the tests, but will do them if I have to. How will I know when its time and is there a kind way to force water?

Has anyone tried a product called allerpet for their cat?
My bf and i just moved in with his brother who is allergic to his cat. My bf's brother just got a product called allerpet/c that you are supposed to put on the cat to reduce her dander and decrease the allergy to the cat. Just wondering if anyone has tried this and if it worked...but more importantly is it safe for my cat. Im concerned because I have seen cats get very sick from over the counter products such as flea and tick repellants. I dont want my cat to get sick.

My cat is a female, about 2 years old. I may have been imagining it, but last night her ears looked reddish on the inside and they were pretty warm to the touch. Is this how a cat shows a fever? Or what else could it be? I'm taking her to the vet soon for a regular check up but wanted to know if I should rush her in sooner?

After we had our daughter my cat went psycho. She would climb in my daughter's crib and pee and poop. We spoke to the vet and they said that cats are territorial. Well, my daughter in now three years old and everytime we let the cat in the house she craps on my daughter's bed. How do I get her to stop? It is disgusting. I try to keep the door shut when she is inside but sometimes I forget. I just want her to stop doing it.

Hi.

I have a cat & i'm 3 months pregnant.

Is it true that they can sense when your pregnant because i didn't believe it but i'm starting to believe it now.

Can he sense that theres something going on inside me because he's acting all soft around me , awwww.

Billy ( my cat ) insists on sleeping on my stomach every night and he just won't leave me alone bless him, he's with me all the time.

I've looked online 4 some information but can't find anything really.

She is already going through the learning process about death. I lost a baby and she talks about it a lot. An uncle just died recently and we went to the funeral. My husband already buried the kitten. I did not want her to see it. I did not want to see it either so he took care of it because he has buried a few cats and dogs when he lived in the country and they got shot.
She died a few minutes after getting struck. I do not want to wait until she asks about it. She has flushed her fish. I am just worried that she will not take it well.

We have a cat-he is three years old, never had another pet with him. I was at the shelter and there were tons of kittens that needed homes and I would really like to adopt one but am afraid they will not get along. Any suggestions?
