He drives me nuts! He doesn't seem to want food, because what he's got he doesn't eat, he doesn't want to go outside and he gets a lot of fuss and attention so what is it that he wants? Am I paying him too much attention?

Can a cat's claws be trimmed at home or should a groomer do it? If you can do it at home, what is the best way and tools to use?

My 10 yrs old cat has urinated on the bed , 3 times in the last week! The only thing to change is our other cat died about 3 months ago , they were very close . I know about putting citrus in the area where they wee but it is a bit hard to do this on the bed. We have now got a litter tray which she is using but if we even leave the bedroom door open for a min she is up there doing it again . She has been spade and has not got a bladder infection .Any ideas would be grate .

I know there have been some similar questions but mine is a little different.

My parents (mainly dad) dont want me to get a cat because we live near the bush, though I want an indoor cat (I also have a bell for its collar).

The other reason is that he reckons they stink, but after posting a question on here about that it seems thats only there breath, when there sick, etc.

What should I say to convince him, he keeps saying, "when you get your own house", but it isnt really like he is going to have to do anything for it.

The other reason they have is it is bad for it to be inside all the time, but I think if there are toys for it to play with & me home like 6 hours a day it shouldn't really be a big deal.

So any ideas how else to convince him?

i got a cat a few days ago. straight away i took her to the vet, and got frontline, they said she had some fleas.i've not let her upstairs, and ive got laminate floor downstairs and a leather suite, so theres nothing for fleas to live in. I gave her frontline yesterday, and it said fleas are killed within 24 hours. will it be safe to let her upstairs after this time or should i wait a bit longer???

I feel so bad because my cat seems so bored! hes about 5 months and doesnt get to go outside often because of where i live theres a highway and im scared to death he'll run out and never come back. But i do take him out side im not mean....my question is how to i have more fun with him inside? i have a bunch a toy's i bought a fuzzy boa and he loves that i have the lasers and he has a little gym to sleep and play in. I still feel like he's really bored or lonely cause he'll set by a window and meow looking out its depressing, and i take him out for an hour or so but he still seems sad....are there some things i can do with hustler to keep him more entertained and keep his little mind off the outdoors? thanks

Put them on a glass-topped table, and then lie down under it and watch their little paw pads as they move about; it's UNBEARABLY cute!!

Don't you just love kittycats?

She had a parasite in her intestines. The vet gave her flagyl which took it away. 3 weeks later she had diarrhea. They tested her feces but no parasite. The vet said to change her food. I now feed her Nutro for Seniors, no wet food, but she still has soft stools. She is 10 yrs old. Any suggestions?
