check and make sure its not a fat male cat first-then figure this-your a tender heart-give her some milk if she is lactose intollerant-try a cat biscuit or a mouse lol not a pet one if its got a name dont feed the same.
and if she lets you pet her-and then try and get a feeling -is it her first litter? is she a happy mom to be-sure she will have some pain-yet the bible says when a woman has a baby for the joy of the new born its worth going through the labor-think of Jesus at calvary-he did it all for you and me-yet he didnt have a literal baby-but spiritually when we are born again-He said i go to the cross for the joy set before me-david in Jesus amazing grace

Antibiotics are for diseases not pain. And actually, animals dont really have that much pain when giving birth. They just pop them out and take care of them. Now, if you notice that mamma is having a rough time with it, then call the vet (or an animal hospital if late at night) and ask what to do from there. Whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE IT MEDS unless a vet tells you to. You could actually harm her and the babies.

Antibiotics are not going to help with labor pain, i suggest you speak with your vet to find out exactly what antibiotics are for, actually I'm sure someone else answering will tell you also. But no don't give her anything for pain, no aspirin (which can do more harm than good), no Aleeve, no Tylenol. If your that concerned then take her to the vet as soon as she starts to deliver.

Where did you get that idea? If you got that from the vet and your cat doesn't have an infection, see another vet. Antibiotics are not a pain killer. Let her have her babies naturally unless you see unusual distress. And if you do see your cat having unusual distress, call a vet and I mean a good one.

antibiotics have nothing to do with pain. Antibiotics prevent infection. If your cat is having a normal labor there should be no reason your cat should need anything. Contact your vet if she begins to have problems, they will decide if she needs medication
