Off to the vet to be sure. There are excellent flea treatments available now that actually work. We use Advantage, a once a month skin treatment. There's also an injection called Program that's good for 6 months I believe. If it's a parasite, you definitely need the vet's help.

take it to a vet! several illnesses that cats can get, can be transfered to humans!
