If you've found a cat and are keeping it in your home then you need to take it to the nearest vet immediately and see if it is microchipped. It could already belong to someone who is going frantic with worry because it's missing. The RSPCA (0870 33 35 999 ) would also advise you and so would the nearest Cat's Protection office (08702 099 099).

If it isn't chipped and there is no-one looking for the cat after you've spoken to all these people, you can offer the cat a new home.

If the cat is one that you just see near your house every day then yes, it will get to know you if you are nice to it and it may become friendly over time.

we've a a million year previous cat and at the instant delivered homestead a kitten. The kitten assaults the older cat in a playful yet particularly aggressive way and he oftentimes avoids her. The vet suggested it is going to take some months for them to get alongside. Your cats will in all likelihood commence getting alongside later yet on the 2nd you will desire to shop Meechi removed from Domo because of the fact the consistent tension would desire to break Domo.

Depending on the age of the cat. Mature cats don't play as much. They would rather be close to you and be petted. I read most cats sleep about 17 hours a day! Be sure to take the cat to your vet for a check up and be sure to keep her shots current. The vet will be able to tell if the cat is spayed or neutered. Cats are great pets, enjoy him/her.

if your going to keep it then take it to the vet.
i just got a kitten stray that behaved just like that. after about a week the kit started to loose weight and stopped being so playful like it was at first.
i brought him to the vet and found out that he had a rare type of worms that have to be gotten rid of with medication that can only be gotten from the vet. he was dehydrated and needed fluids. he tested negative for leukemia and AIDS.
you will want to test your kitty too because these diseases spread to other cats very easily. also distemper is a horrible way for cats and dogs to die so please get your kitty immunized.

good luck.

Sounds like it may be ill. Depending on the maturity of the cat, if a kitten, they are always playful! If cat, maybe lazy; but would be rare.

I agree with the vet checking it out to see if it belongs to someone or if it is healthy. Anyhow if all that is OK give it time i promise you it will come around cats i think take longer than dogs to finally get affectionate with people. They are sometimes more loaners than other animals.

it might just be scared. give it a few days to settle into it's new home and get it's bearings but if it still isn't play full id take it to the vets. like people, cats take a little while to get adjusted
