If I lay on my stomach and pant (like you do) my cat will run towards me and swipe at me all wild looking.

I adopted a 4 month old kitten. me and my friend take care of it and we have a large cat. they play together a lot of the time. I didn't keep the cat at my place because my parents wouldn't let me but last weekend I asked if I could bring the cat home to live with me as a Christmas present. it seemed that I got through to them but no definite answer. I don't wanna depress my cat. it will be my first cat I'd solely be taking care of. so what do you think is in my cats best interest?

They seem to help keep the teeth clean, so I'm reluctant to stop giving them out as a treat.

My Aunt's cats have ear mites and we been trying to find a treatment that would be alright to use on them. Their over 16 years old and not as healthly or playful as they once were. Is there anything I can use that is made for older cats? I don't care if it a home remedy or what but I don't want it to hurt them. One of them has a sore where she been stratching too so we sometime that won't hurt the wound. ( If there is no treatment to do that can anyone me how to make her stopn stratching so it will heal.)

I got a Bengal from a breeder here in Indiana but the cat came from Flordia. She is a year old Bengal and was brought here after the huricane. She came here last November. She is sick and I have taken her to the vet (4 or 5 vets) and she isnb't getting better. We've tried anitibiotics and I've tried a humidifier, but she sneezes and has green snot coming out of her nose. She gets worse when the weather is cold or the air is dry. She was found outside along with 2 other cats, one is also sick the other isn't. I'm running out of options and money fast and despertly need help. I need some ideas that may have been overlooked so that I can sugest it to one of her vets. Have there been any outbreaks like this? Has this been incountered before? I don't expect you to cure her, but I need help please. I don't want her to suffer and I don't want to put her to sleep. It isn't FIV or Feline Lukemia, she's been tested for both many times. Any sugestions or things I could try?

She's about 9 weeks old. When we got her 6 days ago we didn't notice anything abnormal about her eyes. But the last 3 days I've had to wipe them with a warm rag 2 times a day. They're not matting all the way shut and other than her eyes she playful and happy but I'm not sure what to do. I know the best thing to do is take her to the vet's office but due to money issues I'd like to see if there's something over the counter or a natural remedy I could try first. Any suggestions?

We had kittens and had to litter train them. We put a box where they were making messes, which was on a hardwood floor. We removed it once they were going to the proper boxes and there was a wet area under the box where urine soaked through. I bleached and the put baking soda down. The next morning I noticed they had made messes in the baking soda. How do I get rid of the smell and keep them from going back there???

What color should I get? Should I get a male or female? What should I name him/her? How old should they be (cat/kitten)? (I have owned one before, but I'm adopting a new one now and I'm not sure what to get, all the cats at the shelter are so adorable...)
Also, I am getting him/her as a friend for my current 1 1/2 year old male orange tabby that lost his parents recently. (I am 13 and his mother was my cat, his father was my brother's).

I know mine do, and they will talk back to me. When my one cat wants treats, I will ask him where they are and he will take me to them and put his paw on the container and let me know that this is what he wants.

Another one knows that when he is good and lets me cut his tonails he takes me to the fridge and meows to let me know that is where the cheese is and to give him a peice.

One will come to me when I call him and follow me around the house like a dog. He will even just "talk" to me. I want to think he is telling me that he loves me because we can actually carry on a conversation! (me talking to him and him talking back)

spend so long looking for a place to have a wee or poopy before settling down to it?

I have just spent 10 minutes watching one of my cats run around the garden in the pouring rain trying to decide where to do it. Hilarious !!

I took in a stray & she has a very short tail & small head. I always thought she lost half her tail in an accident, but someone told me she could be part Bobcat.

OK. I have answered quite a few questions and in perusing the other peoples answers have seen some serious rudeness to people simply wishing a bit of advice. Why is it that someone wanting to know what to do for an eye infection in their kitten is told to give the kitten to someone more responsible? Obviously they are trying to be responsible by trying to find out what the infection is and if it is a serious issue or not. I do agree that most things need to go to the vet, but not all. Why are people so quick to snap-judge others?
