Is this normal behavior? How long will he do this? When he does this he purrs and paws. Right now it's cute but he won't be a 6 month old kitten forever.

Her kits have now started eating on their own since one week ago, but they still will not drink milk or water from a bowl, only from their mother. This is unusual because the previous litters, started to eat and accept drinks at the same time. She had 5 kits and now is getting fed up with them and seems to have little milk now. Although she still feeds them maybe 3-4 times a day, but only for a couple of minutes.
I want to wean them fully, as I want to get her speyed this time. Should I completely seperate her from them, hoping that when they are thirsty they will drink?

Another questiion. Is it possible for her to get pregnant again while she is still nursing them?

Hope someone can give me advice. Thanks

My cat is about 5 years old. He always pees in his box, but maybe a quarter of the time he takes a dump on the basement carpet, even if his box is clean. For awhile he got into the habit of doing that ALL the time, and I started punishing him severely for it. But like I said, he still screws up like 1/4 of the time. I don't get it.

He is probaly about 18 pounds and we (Mom and Dad and I) figure that he is just hugrey. We don't like to feed him more than at least once a day. It really bugs me when I come home and all I have to listen to is Dreammer meoewing like as if there was something wrong with him. What can we do about this?

the little one loves the older one. the older one is like a diva and sometimes wants total privacy. i did see her lick the little one's ear ONCE but she is too diva and it would be nice if she could show more love. oh well. they are not related (not from the same litter) - both are girls

My mom's cat often lies down on his back in front of my cat. Sometimes my cat will lie down in front of my mom's. It obviously isn't a submissive pose like it is in dogs because the cat that is lying down stares aggressively and the other cat growls and complains about it. Is it supposed to be some kind of insult or something?

My cat got severely ill when i swithch to dry cat food only, to try to control his weight. He was only on it for 2 weeks and in that time he developed an erroded bladder. He very nearly died. He had access to water and did drink a lot, but still had serious health problems. His bladder will never recover and he is on special low Ph wet food and pills for the rest of his life. I wanted to know if anybody out there feeds their cats dried only, and please let this be a warning to u if u do.

I moved a few months ago. But could not take my cats. They stayed at my parents house. one of them pees and poops all over in the basement. she seemed to stop for a few days, then started again. I have cleaned the floor with bleach and pet odor remover. Any one have any other suggestions? Thank you

My cat(nutered male) had some bladder stone issues about six months ago, I took him to the vet, they got them out without surgery and gave me prescription food, recently he began having trouoble peeing again so I took him to the vet again, this time they couldnt squeeze them out. They sent some samples out to be tested and he is now home waiting the results. On the sheet which they break down what was done, they gave him antibiotics and Flocilin? WHat is Flocilin?

i got a kittten when i had an elderly cat. the kitten loved the elderly cat, but the elder didnt like the kitten much. about a year later, the elder cat died. ever since, shes slept more, been less playful, got kinda fat. i think shes depressed. sometimes she go and looks for her in the room the elderly used to stay. is there anything i can do?

Got a cat today it was very nervous hid behind settee. My kitten always hides under my bed and does his business under there at the same spot . He has his litter box. Where he can use it . I'm tired of haveing moveing my bed around everyday. our pet cat tinku was injured.today morning we kept him in a box n took him to the hospital but on the way he jumped ffrom the box n went into a waste land.we called him but he didnt come.myfather did more than his best but he refused to come.3 times he jumed from the box n went into that land.all this happened in the morning.in the evening also we went to see him.he is very afraid of my dad now.i called him from standing in the next house n he came out.we gave him biscuits n water.he ate all the biscuits but when we kept him in the box he came out n ran.i closed the box tightly but even though he came out through a small gap.we all r much worried about him.but my dad says that he will come back within two days.he had never gone to that place b4.will he come back?im much worried.im in tears.ffriends plz tell me.my mom says that he will come after her if she calls him.again tomorrow we r going to try to bring him back.will he come with us?
