They have ear cleaner in the pet section in your stores. It sounds like your kitten may have ear mites. Follow the directions on the ear cleaner and clean the ears and then get some ear mite medication and put a few drops in his or her ears. If this doesn't work and he or she still has problems be sure to take the kitten to the vet. I have a cat who had a horrible time with ear mites and he ended up having to go to the vet with a severely swollen ear and had to have surgery. Don't let this happen. I was getting his ears cleaned and stuff but they said the mites were embedded down deep into his ears past the ear drum and that what I was doing wasn't reaching that far. They said I did give a good effort and commended me on that.

firstly Wal-mart sells ear mite meds...for proper ear mite removal...if you can not afford a vet trip...tho I do suggest a vet visit, due to the fact if it is an ear infection they will have the correct antibiotic for you precious one.....I don't recommend using peroxide....if the mites have eaten in to the tissue of the ear the peroxide can make the tissue where it won't properly heal and can permanently damage the cats hearing....and sense of balance...(if you note on the peroxide bottle it says for external use only ....and not for cleansing an infestation) also this will probably cause great pain as the mite bite bites down harder from being 'boiled' out with the peroxide...if you are medicating the cats ears in any way...I recommend wrapping your kitty in a slightly warmed blanket or towel for comfort...also have a second person do the 'drops' or pour the med in so the person it trusts most is holding it...treats afterward ....even just a long snuggling is a GREAT IDEA so the cat is not afraid of you in the future...

DON'T USE ALCOHOL TO CLEAN HER EARS! If you do, you will rupture her eardrum and cause an infection. Your cat probably has earmites. There are a number of earmite medications, but the two that I've had luck with are: Revolution, and Cerumite. You can obtain either one by visiting your vet's office.

Dont clean her ears and take her to your local veterinary hospital so that they can see what kind of wax build up that your little one has. They will probably reccomend doing an ear swab and looking at it under a microscope to see if she has any ear mites and such. Good luck!

try using either hydrogen peroxide or alcohol not both and q tips and you may have to do it more than once a day until you get all of the wax buildup if she still keeps having the problem then it is time to visit the vet
