He is probaly about 18 pounds and we (Mom and Dad and I) figure that he is just hugrey. We don't like to feed him more than at least once a day. It really bugs me when I come home and all I have to listen to is Dreammer meoewing like as if there was something wrong with him. What can we do about this?

My Mom and Dad's cat is about 10 or 11 years old and also likes to get mad at me when I pick him up like he is hurting or something.

Cats will do that for attention. They want to be petted and played with when you come home. They don't get attention during the day and do that for attention. My old roommates cat will go in the other room and meow really really loud so that she would come in there with him. He had her wrapped around his paw. That is what the vet told her. I have a 4 month old kitten who will go in the living room and really yell out because he wants me in there. He will be ready to pounce on me as soon as I come in. He just wants to play with me in there. It think it is his favorite room. He will also meow really loud just before he is going to do something wrong, like jump on the table. He knows he will get my attention for that. I try toys that move on their own for the cats entertainment. The best entertainment for Brady is the ring off of a milk jug. He plays for 30 min or more without my attention. He loves it. I hope that is all your parents cats wants. If there is any doubt, take him to the vet to make sure there are no medical problems.

Some cats just like to talk. At 18 pounds, he is too heavy.

He sounds spoiled like mine. Mine will meow alot too. If you let him out, then let him out so you dont have to hear it. If not, put him in another room. Dont feed him, he'll only continue the meowing.

I know how irratating it can be, Ive got one like that.
