I have two kittens aged 5 months, that are meant to be the same sex, but their bits look different? One has quite lumpy bits sticking out, that could well be testes, but there is like a little hole in the middle of the lumpy bits, that also look a bit like a vulva!? The other cat seems to have the same lumpy bits, but it's shaped differently and I'm just wondering if this sounds normal, or one of them might be a female!?

A lot of people seem to be suggesting and even actively promoting declawing. If you're considering it, PLEASE look into what it actually involves before making that decision.
It isn't just a case of pulling the claws out - which would be painful and distressing enough. A cat's claw is closely adhered to the bone, and to remove the claw, the last joint in your cat's toes also has to be removed - it's basically an amputation of the end of each toe.

It's very painful surgery (ever had orthopaedic surgery?) and has a long painful recovery period.

If you've been considering it, PLEASE (I beg you!) pay a visit to these pages:

Then look into those big pussycat eyes and think long and hard before you put the little love through this.

Thanks xx

I desperately want to get a cat, but my fiance says no. We are expecting our first child in three weeks. Apart from baby i would like some company in the day time as i plan to be a stay at home mum, but fiance still says no. Do you think it is a good idea to get a cat when i will be so busy with my new baby, and if so how can i persuade him to say yes?

I look after homeless cat,she comes to eat to my flat and sometimes she sleeps in my flat.she looks as a nice, clean cat.however,I want to buy a British shorthair kitten, but I am worried that he can catch fleas,or some other diseases from the homless cat all the time they will get in contact(even thouth she looks clean).any suggestions what to do?I just cant stop looking after that cat and just not to let her in to my flat as I look after her for more then a year, but at the same time she is an outside cat,and wont get used to being locked at home.

My friend called me from Spain, he forgot to feed his cat and will be gone for 2 weeks. He lives like 5 hours away out in the country. Will the cat be ok, or should I drive out there and feed the furball?

her claws! When they get clipped they seem torn or they're not in one piece. She meows/cries like she's and im wondering if there's anything wrong. Her claws don't seem to be bleeding. Anyone has any experience with how the cats claws are suppose to look like? Could it be that they're torn bc she scratches? (even though she doesn't scratch that much). I've changed the clippers twice already!

Say he falls out a window and gets hurt. No crime has been committed and it's a holiday or late at night so you can't swing him by the vet could you call 9-11 and they'd sent somebody over to save him from dying or tell you they cannot help you, 9-11 is for humans only?
