No, he's not a freak. If he doesn't look fat, he probably isn't. I saw a 5 month old kitten at PetSmart in VERY good physical condition....and he was 8.9lbs!
Your cat is a male....and males tend to get big....it sounds like you're going to have one large kitty on your hands.

all real, nicely considering Tigger became in the homestead first she would have taken your place as her territory, so Tyson is invading her territory it is inflicting her to act like this. My mom's cousin has 2 cats. One is a male named Dude and the different is a woman named Oreo. Now Dude lived of their homestead for an prolonged time and then she desperate to undertake Oreo. She took Oreo homestead along with her and permit her roam around the homestead and meet Dude. After some days Dude started chasing Oreo around like a rat, hissing, and meowing at her like loopy. they don't probable get alongside. What you may desire to objective to do is observe them over some extra days, see if the movements exchange even purely somewhat. If issues proceed as they're you may desire to objective to cause them to like one yet another. attempt to locate a activity they the two desire to play. some thing they'd do mutually mutually as your away without attempting to kill one yet another, or once you may desire to bypass away the homestead separate them from one yet another and once you return lower back permit each and every of them out and notice what happens. possibly they only would desire to get used to a minimum of one yet another purely somewhat extra. you additionally can ask a Vet for some counsel. i desire I helped somewhat. :3

6 months, 6 pounds sounds just right. He might be ten or twelve pounds at a year and that would be a good weight to maintain for him.

He is just at his awkward stage right now. He will grow out of it and fill into his frame soon. My Mom kitten had the biggest ears once but he grew into them. LOL.

No, he sounds fine to me. Cats go through a sort of gangly teenage stage which would be right for his age.
Stop worrying, just love him!
