No, he's not a freak. If he doesn't look fat, he probably isn't. I saw a 5 month old kitten at PetSmart in VERY good physical condition....and he was 8.9lbs!

my cat is the same way, hes just really lang and tall, so there's more of him compared to other cats his age

He is just at his awkward stage right now. He will grow out of it and fill into his frame soon. My Mom kitten had the biggest ears once but he grew into them. LOL.
