It is SOOOO sweet to see your so worried about her! Really, she will be fine. My cat ate ANYTHING and everything, including earplugs once! I really would just watch the stools for a few hours and make sure she is not getting dehydrated, and offer her a LOT of water and keep her near you for a while if you are reaaly concerned, but I promise, she will be fine. just some extra love will help you to feel better, :) Your going to be a GREAT parent, :)

I don't think so, but if she shows signs of stomach upset, pain, or any unusual symptoms, please consult your veterinarian immediately. I'm not a cat person I have dogs and have been told by my veterinarian that chocolate has caffiene in it and that acts like acid and burns the stomach and intestines on dogs if they would consume a large quantity, say four to five candy bars. Of course my dogs are large breeds over 100 lbs so quantities should be adjusted per animal size. Eventually if enough chocolate or any other foods containing cafiene are injested--eaten--then bleeding could occur and even death. Best advice talk to your vet and no more chocolate miss kitty. Hope this helps you.

I currently work for a Veterinary hospital. The good thing is that you removed her from the chocolate because chocolate can be toxic to animals, same as grapes. But if she only licked it for a second, she will be completely fine.

I asked my vet approximately my cats eating, say somewhat chocolate ice cream, and so on. And he suggested in the event that they have been to eat 0.5 pound or a gentle weight loss software of it then there is reason to agonize. some commercials. and overly careful human beings we are able to do without. My sister has a small dogs and if it bites a chocolate chip cookie she has a poultry and runs to vet. that's no longer lifelike. do exactly no longer feed it chocolate, a lick is advantageous.

She won't get sick. But if you eat the chocolate she's licked, you'll turn into a were-cat on nights of the full moon.

Dogs are the ones who can't eat chocolate. Cats can get sick just like any human would from eating too much of it, but she should be fine.

Don't worry, as that amount is virtually nothing. She just had a happy mouth for a second. Don't give what happened a second thought. Relax.
