ARe they still with the mom? If they are still with the mom, you can start offering them solid food when they are about 6 weeks old. They may still suckle milk off the mom, but the weaning should begin around 6 weeks. It is safe for them to be completely off mother's milk and onto solid food by the time they are 8 weeks old.

Kittens can start nibbling soft food around 3-4 weeks old, don't try to wean them too fast. Let the mother handle that. She usually weans them between 6-8 weeks old.

Kittens need mother's milk till they are at least 8 weeks old. A common mistake is taking the kittens away from their mother too soon and they lose vital nutrients they get from their mother's milk. The mother also teaches them things and they learn from their siblings about proper behavior and such. I would leave them alone till they are 8 weeks old and if the mother is not weaning them then you might be able to step in if you are wanting to find them homes but the mother usually does it. You can start moistening kitten food for them at 4 or 5 weeks of age and putting it down for them though.

What I do is place a shallow dish with milk in it on the floor. and each kitten I would hold and dip his head into the dish, just so the milk touches his nose and face... do it real quick. the kitten will lick the milk off himself, and all of a sudden get the idea that the bowl is full of milk!!! Works fast!!! and a few days later I'll leave a dish with some canned (soft) cat food in it next to the milk, they find that all on their own, but they will still nurse for a while, but if mom goes away, they are fine with the milk and food. Of course in about a week start watering the milk down with water, and keep adding more water each day till it's almost no milk and all water. they get the general idea

They should be 6-8 weeks old before they are weaned from their mother. The mama cat will often decide to wean them herself. You can start giving them moist kitten chow when they are about 4 weeks old. When they seem to eat that with ease, you should be able to give them dry food (without moistening it).

They shouldn't be weaned until about six weeks. Around five weeks, you can start introducing them to kitten or human food. Just remember, at the same time, you have to start litter training them.

Kittens can usually be weaned around 5 to 6 weeks. Start them on a bread soaked in canned milk solution, put their noses in it. you may have to open their mouths at first and put a little bit in so they'll know what to do with it. They'll eventually get the hang out it. After they've learned how to eat you can then graduate them to soft canned food.
