i need names for three kittens

2006-08-08 21:38:25 · 15 answers · asked by Chuck N 1

My kitten was separate from his mother too soon, so I had to teach him to use the litter box when I get him in my appartment. Now it's ok, he understands what the litter box is for, and go in it many times every day and night.

But the problem is that since a few days, he started peed on my couch again... And I really don't know what to do, because obviously it's no because he can't find his litter ox, it's like he's doing it deliberately, to tell me something...

I really don't know what I can do. Could you give me some advice ?
Thanks

My cat has been bringing mice for her kittens!?
and she keeps doing so. i enjoy watching the kitten(s) eat the bastard. is it because my cat was born a wild cat and was raised that way for atleast a week before it was found and given to me.

the most strangest thing about my cat is: she has gray fur with some orange, black, and white(so i named her colours)!!

I live alone in a new house with my cat. It's a 2 story 5 bedroom house. Sometimes I hear a slight "thump" or a "bump" upstairs from time to time. Today I was petting my cat when he jumped up, stared at the wall, looked behind me off to the side and hissed. He has never done for the 3 years I had him, what does that mean? do cats hiss randomly sometimes ? but he stares at the walls sometimes or into space.

i am asking this for a friend so all the info i list is all the info i know about. i'll try to remember it all.

one is male and one is female
they are both fixed
they are from the same litter
they have lived together for eight years
The only other time this has happened was last year, which lastes a 3 month period around this time.

i'll copy and past some things my friend said:

"She comes to my door and scratches and cries at it until i get up and let her in. And then she proceeds to make all kinds of noise..."

"She walked right up to him, hissed in his (other cat) face and walked into my brother's room. Poor Baby was like "What the **** did i do?". The little guy's trying to be nice, but for some reason, she won't get over it. She also doesn't understand, WHY she can't be out of my room at all hours. Until i open the door. Then she sees Baby, hisses and growls at him, turns around and goes to sit on my computer chair."

out of space, i'll put the 2 questions on the "ADD DETAILS"

we live in an area not near busy roads, but theres alot of land spaces where she could get lost. Iv been calling out to her and leaving the door open during the days but theres no sign. Do you think she went back to her original owners, cause we've only had her for about 4 weeks now. Is there anything else i can do? Is there any way she could still be alive after 5 days???

ok i have 4 10mo cats all from the same litter and thier mother 5 yrs old, ive decided to keep them all..ive noticed my big ol boy kneeds constantly (a thing a cat does on soft areas where they lift 1 paw up at a time and kinda smoosh out a area b4 laying down) why does he do this? hes managed to deform 3 of my decrotive pillows lol...ive asked the vet and they said this is usually due to a cat who was stopped from nursing to early or lost his mom..but hes had his mom since birth and still has her....in fact my mumma cat had a litter not to long ago (about 10 weeks) and hes countiusly the only 1 who nurses off her...its the sillyiest thing to see...a big ol boy 3 times his moms size drinking off her...is something wrong with him? hes totally jealous of his other siblings too and attacks them to the point where most are living atop my fridge...hes kinda the big alpha male king of the house...could a cat be mentally retarded from birth?more info about this cat is in recent questions..ty

I'm taking 3 cats to NYC. I'm worried about getting them on the plane. One gets carsick after 2 blocks. One is very big and I will not be able to fit him under the seat for any period of time and they all are big babies.

I also just got a place that is much, much smaller than where I lived before (very expensive city) and I'm afraid they will be unhappy.

Finally my place has a balcony 6 floors up and I am terrified of them getting out or falling out. I'd love for them to get fresh air and sit outside but I'd die if anything happened to them.

I'd appreciate any constructive advice. I'm having a post-lease signing anxiety attack and can't sleep.

Has anyone used Soft Claws nail caps on their cat? I'd like to hear your experiences with them. Do you put them on yourself or have the vet do it? Also did your cat accept them very easily? I'm afraid my cat would absolutely freak out if she had plastic glued to her claws.

Where I live, we have so limited brands of catfood to choose from. So maybe if any of you owners of long haired cats can recommend a good brand I can ask for the supplier to place an order for it specifically. I use now Science Diet Hairball Control because thats about the only one available here for longhaired cats. Is this brand ok or can you recommend a better one that gave you better results in terms of hairball control and a more lustrous coat?

They are the clowns of the cat world--
anyone have a funny story to share about that?
We got ours from the Humane Society and he thinks he is a dog. He greets us at the front door, he begs for food like a dog, he plays fetch, he "talks" to you when you talk to him, he walks on a leash, he comes when called and mothers other animals although he is a male.
He is very special!

My cat's name is Ploochie. She is a very evil kitten and when we first got her, she would spit at me & my family & dog. A family friend knows Polish and one of his favorite sayings is "Ploochie wapash" (I actually don't know how to spell it, but that's how it's pronounced) which means "Spit and catch it". You say that if someone is asking you what you are doing, and it means you are basically doing nothing... Anyways, since my cat would always spit, we named her Ploochie. Does your cat's name have a special meaning??? Just curious...

What do I do? I have never had a problem cutting his nails before, (although he can be a little best at times), but a loud noise scared him and made my hand slip. :-(

I called the emergency vet, and they suggested to put some flour or cornstarch on it. Any other suggestions? We have him confined to the bathroom floor with an old towel to lay on so he doensn't bleed all over the rest of the house. I have used compression on his wound, but the blood doesn't seem to stop. It's not like he's bleeding to death, but he definitely needs some help to have the bleeding stop.

I hope he will be okay....I feel so terrible. Any advice?

I have a 3 month old cat that has been battling a hairball for one week. It's pitiful. He hacks & coughs, but nothing comes up. He doesn't mew very much anymore (I think his throat may be raw from all the hacking). I haven't seen any blood, but I know its wearing him out. He's still eating.

What I've tried:
1. Petgold Hairball malt-flavored paste - for 5 days now (1/4 tsp a day according to package).
2. Wheatgrass - he nibbles on this a few times a day
3. Brushing him 2x a day (prevention)

I feel like he's suffering & I feel helpless. What else should I be doing? How long does it take for a hairball to come up? I'd appreciate any suggestions.

She is also very skittish and doesn't like too many people. I have been with both her and her sister, whom I also own, since they were born. Her sister is the complete opposite. She loves the attention. This cat loves me and only me.

I have 3 cats, he is the youngest of the 3. He likes to poop all over the place, in my closet, clothes and towels laying on the floor, in the bathtub. I have 3 litter boxes in the bathroom, living room and bedroom. They all get cleaned 3 times a day/ The other 2 cats go in the box, for him he thinks the box is optional. What can i do with him?

Should I pack litter box/sand If she is staying in my friend's house for only about 10 hrs and my friend also owns a cat(my friend's cat doesn't like my cat thou)?
