Cats - June 2006

I have had a cat for about three years. About six months ago I got a new cat. They are both females and half get along; half fight all time. It seems ever since I got my 2nd cat the first one has been throwing up, but not on a daily basis. She could go a week or more without doing it or do it every couple days; it just depends. When I clean it up the pieces of food are pretty much whole so it looks like she is pretty much inhaling the food. Others have told me it is probably because she is being territorial and trying to eat a lot and fast because of the other cat. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can control her throwing up? It is getting very annoying.

i bought my cat some antibiotics at the vet (near my parents house) around a month ago. i accidently left them there when we left to drive back to my apartment (which is 3 hrs away!)....i'm going back to my hometown today...but will the antibiotics still be good?? or do i need to buy another dose?? thanks!

My roommate brought home a new cat. It's all good, pretty cool cat except for one problem. We have no idea what to name it. It's black and gray, almost never makes noise, doesn't claw at all (but isn't declawed) and is more or less nice (though doesn't seem to care much - typical cat. So, what should I name my cat?

even had the same little black spot in same place in mouth.... freaky. the soul is different of course :) so I dont think id do this... it would just remind me of the REAL cat : (

my cat has the flu i think after giving him a wash, he started sneezing its been days now, i've been giving him vit. C. but it doesnt work. his eyes are still watery and he still has a runny nose, but despite that he seems active. What should i give him? pls advice.

A friends cat passed away, and she wants to keep a photo of him in a 'book-type' picture frame with some sort of tribute to him. She asked me to come up with something...I have, but I'm worried it may not be suitable, he was so important to her and I don't want to upset her by getting this wrong...I'd be grateful if you could read this and give me your opinions, comments and/or better ideas. my cat, an indoor 6yr old ragdoll, escaped outside for a few days and came back with a huge mat in his fur, we tried to comb it out but nothing working and we were going to bring him in to have it cut out or combed out 'professionally'. (that was a few weeks ago and the appointment is set for next week). but today we found a clump of his white hair and a bald spot, do you think it could be worms or something...b/c its not right how the hair fell out...plz help...i love my cat
