No the shelf life of antibiotics is alot longer then a month, for the most part they will still be good after a year. but some antibiotics are light sensative also some cannot be stored below 30 degrees and higher then 80 degrees

Been going through the same thing for more than two months except for the rash. It's bronchitis, caused by either virus (unlikely since it lasted that long) or an allergy. When through two sets of antibiotics, prednisone pack, nasonex, albuterol, Advair, TheraFlu, Mucinex, two types of cough medicine. Started in AZ. When I got back to PA, the cool damp helps. I keep the heat down and a window cracked. It's an allergy. Got an appointment for some tests. Rash could be a reaction to one of the antibiotics. I'd say look for another doctor. Both the doctor in AZ and my primary care, when I called him, think it's an allergy. Not the first time I've gone through this.

They should be fine, but the question is will your cat be fine???? If a vet has prescribed antibiotics to your cat over a month ago and your cat has not received them why do you think your cat needs them? Antibiotics are for the treatment of bacterial infections only. The are completely useless on viral infections. The body's own immune system attacks viral infections on it's own. Bacterial infections, however, will proliferate and lead to serious illness and/or death. You should not have delayed treatment this long. However, if your cat is fine, then it may have been a viral infection that has already taken its course and your cat is no longer in need of these meds.
By the way, why didn't you just have your parents mail them to you???

Call the vet you got the antibiotics from and find out the expiry date., They are probably good but it is a good idea to double check. Most antibiotics have a long shelf life. You would probably give the same dose as long as the cat has not lost or gained any weight.

Not unless it is a liquid that needed to be stored in the fridge. Pills or capsules will still be good.
So the cat didn't get the medication for a month???? Now you are going to give it to the cat?????? I am confused on if the cat was actually treated for something or has waited a month!!!!
If it had to be stored in the fridge, it is no good after a month. There is usually a sticker on it or it will say someplace on the bottle, DISCARD AFTER 14 DAYS>

No I think they have a shelf life of about 6 months to a year depending on what type. If it's a doctor or vet prescribed medication it should have an expiration date on it.
