this happened to my dog too ... she would eat her food too quickly and what happens is that the food swells up and then their stomach is too full ... hence the vomiting

try putting some of the dry food and see how much it swells up, if it doubles in size then this could be part of the problem.

to solve this problem, soak the dry food in water until it swells to full capacity before feeding it to the kitten.

if the problem still persists, you'll definitely need to see a vet.

good luck with the babes!!

IF you atarted both cats on the food without gradually introducing it then that might make 1 start vomiting because 1 cat might not have a tolerence for a quick change in its diet. Try letting them eat just the dry food and limit them to 2 or 3 serving a day. Depening on the poundage of your Kittens (I'm guessing between 3-6 LBS) feed them about 1/4 of a cup each.

I have continuously used the "loose feeding" technique. I placed dry food out and it continues to be out each and each of the time next to a bowl of water. I occassionally feed them moist food as a take care of. on the on the spot, I purely feed them each and each a small volume of moist. moist and dry ingredients both have their reward and downsides. you may examine the labels and ask your vet that's wonderful. loose feeding facilitates the kitten can pick at the same time as to eat. Our vets have informed me this does no longer artwork for all cats - some won't be able to provide up ingesting and get too fat. I have one cat that's slightly inactive, that the vet says is slightly overweight besides the indisputable fact that the vet did not imagine I could commence controlling parts. My different cat is underweight - she's very lively. If I were you, i'd attempt this and word if this solves your problem. If the cat begins to get overweight, then you actually can initiate feeding it managed parts back. a mixture of dry and moist will keep your kitten healthy and satisfied!

Might have worms or something. Have you taken the kittens to a vet yet to get them checked and start them on their shots and deworming? You should probably do that asap, especially the one vomiting.

Have these kitties been dewormed? Have they had their first distemper shots etc? they may need to be vaccinated asap. Also you can give them just dry food at 6 weeks of age--they have teeth and can chew it or just moisten the dry food a bit.

take your cat or all your cats to the vet to get the proper diagnoses it could be a number of things. this is my advise to solve this problem and make your cat or cats well. mothers sometimes pass worms on to their kittens at birth. but only a vet can make the decision for health issues.

As one that has always had cats, my guess on one that young is worms. Run don't walk to your vet for a checkup and deworming medication. If it is worms, your kitten won't live long.

Cats will also vomit when they have a hairball. You can get hairball remedy from any pet store or pet area at WalMart.
