yes, cats are like humans but are not shaped like human beings. Cats should be treated the same like a human should be treated.

Cats communicate mostly through body language and vocalizations, but as far as their cognitive abilities the answer would be no, I don't think a cat would be motivated to have thoughts about your hair length. Cats think about things like "Pet me", "I'm Hungry", "Time to use the litter box", "I'm thirsty", "That cat doesn't belong in my territory", and such as that. However these thoughts would not take the form of words, or even necessarily be in first person. Cats don't experience self awareness in the same manner as higher primates or humans. They are much closer to the instinctual side of life, even though they have been domesticated as pets for thousands of years.

I doubt it. Creatures on that level think more in images and emotions or feelings, just the way a human child does. Both don't have the concept of speech, yet. A meow is more like a dog's tail. A happy dog wags his tail, while an angry one has it straight up, and a scared one holds it down. The meow is a vocalization of a similar communication. Big cats don't purr, so the purr may have developed by domestic pets to encourage humans to pet them and treat them.

One really great thing about cats, or any animal, is that they don't care what you look like, they just care about your personality. They can tell what a person is really like on the inside.

I doubt it. They speak openly as they are fearless and could care less what your reaction is. They have no problem getting their message across to you!

They think simple thoughts, like "I'm hungry", and "where's that stupid fat human?"
