This is the second year my birds have been mating. The first year they were able to successful lay 4 eggs. But this year the female has been trying to push out the egg for about 2 weeks now and hasn't come out. and her bottom area is all swollen and red. What should I do?

I found a lost egg while in the Lake District near a group of ducks so I'm guessing it was a duck's egg (also due to the strong shell). Thing is, I dunno what to do with it! I'm storing it in my boiler room at a warm temperature and waiting around 28 days for it to hatch.
If it hatches successfully, how do I take care of it?!

the past two days there is a robin outside our house that keeps flying into differant windows around our house. he flies to a branch then to the window, back and forth and then does it to a differant window on another side of the house (i assume it's the same robin). he's not totally crashing into them, but is bumping into them - feet first, i think. the only thing i can think of is maybe he sees his reflection and thinks it's a "rival" bird in his territory or competing for a mate. ??????

i been seing a hawk around my house for a very long time and it killed one of my birds even inside the cage he manage to kill her and the other day my neighbor saw that hawk around her yard in a tree the next day her cat was missing so was mine and we know they weren't run over. so what happend? we are not sure

My baby westie is about 8 months and it seems that she is always digging to get to the other pen that we had her beside and we put her in with my male westie and he was do it with her. Is it possible that she is already in heat. Is it to young?

This just accord like two days ago and the mouth opening has gotten sorta worse. I offer my bird water but he doesn't want any. I know he's not chocking because one time he was chocking and he was more frantic. There are no avains around here. It would be great if you could post a website on local avains or something like that. When my bird opens its mouth it's like my cockatiel is opening for a big mouth full of ice cream. ( I do not give my bird ice cream. ) Please help!

We're getting chicks tomorrow. 25 of them! We're only keeping 8 and selling the rest...but we need some creative names.
They will be 3 - white, 2- black and white spotted, 1 -red, 1-black, 1 cream colored.

My children got chicks for easter (NOT MY IDEA!!!), and I was wondering if you can tell what kind of chicken you have by the way the chick looks. Also do they need to have a light on them all the time? These things never sleep, and peep all night long, can I cover them up and turn the light off so they will shut up?

I have a pigeon that is sitting near my front door. I walked up to it, but it didnt fly away. It doesnt appear to be in pain. It is about the size of any other pigeon, but it is brown and kind of spotted in colouring. It can walk, but doesnt seem to be able to fly, or at least hasnt tried yet.
please help me! does anyone have some advice?

Just saw a bird and it was like a pigeon, tan and white fleck, straight 4inch dark grey bill. Haven't seen one like that around here. just wanted to know what it was or if the is a good website i can see one.

my friend just called and her sister, her, her friend and her firends mom are in a cottage for the night and a bird got into on of their bedrooms of a 4 room cottage. they trying to get the bird out. they tried brushing it with a broom, trailing seeds, and whislting by the window. none of it has worked. its been there an hour now and they dont want to sleep til its out. my friend called me to put this question up and if anyone knos and solutions please tell me!! thank you!
