Your pet parrot....I have a Senegal Parrot and he gave me two whopping puncher bites, top and bottom beaks. Little monster, I pulled my hand away, and really had to shake him to get him off.

If you live in the midwest, can you attract hummingbirds to your front porch in any neighborhood? I live in the city, but there are a lot of trees. I saw this cool red nectar in a department store, do I have to live in a certain neighborhood to get these unique birds to my porch? How will they know to show up? Can they smell it from miles away like sharks to human blood? Can they get signals from other birds. Has anyone ever attracted hummingbirds to their porch, and what state do you live in?

There was a baby bird in my drive way, i caught him and put him in a cage. He's calm, he lets you pet him. He's not very old, but does have all of his feathers. He can only fly about 2-3 feet at a time, which is why i brought him in. He ventured around in my driveway for about an hour or so and our dogs kept barking at him.
He's a normal any old day blackbird, what should I feed him?
Should I let him back out?
Should I take him to a vet?

i have alot of excess fat on my birds i feed them a broiler crumble from our fleet and farm. is it the by products in the feed OR would restrticting feed at night but still feed them the broiler crumble make a difference. we want them to grow fast but not fat. another option would be to get feed w/out the animal by products. i say either get a non animal by-product feed or restrict feed with the by products in it. any ideas?

So my new cat had been eating like twenty small animals at my house. I cant get him to stop... do you know how? Its really nasty to see gecko's head and bird's feet lying on the floor in the house.
SO, Yesterday, pono ate a baby bird and i figured the rest of the baby birds are somewhere in trouble. So I found two baby birds and a broken nest lying on the ground on the bottom of a tree. I picked them both up and put it in a nest and put it back on the tree. I couldnt put it back into their normal nest spot because it was too high. So I tired putting it back up there as high as i can which is on a lower branch... I been watching the nest and hadnt seen the parents. I was worried that my new cat might had ate them or scared the parents away. My mother and I tried finding a rescue place where we can give birds to but we dont have it here in Hawaii. What can I do???? Im little worried those birds might be hungry now.
