Well my budgie seems to change sex, but I think it is just a hormone disorder. When he was young, he had a tumor-like growth by his vent. This went away in a few months. Meanwhile his cere color kept changing back and forth from blue to brownish, suggesting sex ambiguity. I read somewhere that this tumor was related to abnormal hormonal production, leading to "gender" changes. I have never tried to breed him/her, and I don't know whether this condition affects reproductive function. However, he is healthy and about seven years old, and still alternates "gender" occasionally. And he's a really nice pet.

Not unless they croke. As far as I know, that phenomna applies only to snails and certain types of frogs. Budgies will bond with either sex but they remain what they were born (hatched) to be - either male or female.

by ability of somebody i do no longer shelter interior the 1st place: "guy i've got self belief Like a woman" by ability of Shania Twain. nerve-racking previous concept. by ability of somebody whose music I commonly love: "African guy" by ability of Iggy Pop. i do no longer know *WHAT* the hell he replaced into on while he wrote that music, even nevertheless it truly is embarrassingly undesirable, exceedingly while in comparison with the different songs on the "New Values" album, a lot of that are marvelous IMHO.
