She will eat but won't drink! When i looked at her water it was running low so i filled it but she won't drink. The other bird won't open his eyes but he isnt puffed up. I checked the web to try and figure it out but i couldn't get anything. These are my first parakeets! I NEED HELP!

These birds sound VERY sick! Take them to the vet, preferably an avian vet ASAP!!! This is an EMERGENCY! You can look up an avian vet here http://aav.org/vet-lookup/
In the meantime, keep them warm and make sure they have food and water. DO NOT TRY TO TREAT IT YOURSELF!

Ok this is easy i have 1. when they r poofed up they r ggetting ready to speel or perm themselves. if shes not drinking its fine. they dont like to drink when you are watching them. and they only have a little water once in awhile! And the other 1 that has its eyes closed but isnt poofed it just sleeping. When a parakeet is dead its eyes are WIDE open and their feather are hugged on their body.There is absolutley nothing wrong at all ok! no worries im a person who studies birds. i have a parakeet myself ok! NO WORRIES. im a proffesion i know. they r perfectly fine ok!

Sounds like "PUFFED TWEAT" Sorry, I couldn't resist. I would definitley call a vet or even a pet store. I don't think I would handle them without latex gloves until you know. Good luck, I hope they're OK.

why dont you take them to the vet if your that concerned. They might have some kind of infection..........BIRD FLU!!!! ahhhhh No but seriously, take them to the vet. Dont ask questions on yahoo

Your parakeet could be molting. Have you noticed a larger amount of loose feathers?
