Sorry to tell you but if you find an egg in the wild odds are its a protected species, hence it would be illegal to have it in you possession. In all likelihood if you take egg like that you've either found a dead one (need constant incubation period) or stolen a good one from a ground nesting species and will probably end up killing it... Let nature take it's course the care you want to provide can't compare to that of the parents.

If you're going to do that, you'll have to have an incubator. The egg not only has to be kept at a certain warmth, but it needs a specific humidity. The egg also needs to be turned on a regular basis. Perhaps you can volunteer at a Nature Center or rehabilitation center for birds and help with abandoned eggs and chicks. Successfullly incubating eggs on your own will be an expensive endeavor. Raising a chick from hatching will be an extremely time intensive project, and you'll need special training to do it successfully.

Get an incubator.

Find a petstore that has a lot of unwanted eggs.

Take the eggs and put them in the incubator.

The chances are, that few will survive to adulthood.

Have a really iron stomach ... but all this can be done.

I would volunteer at a wild-life rescue. Believe me, there they will train you to take care of all kinds of animals, and when you finally get your own baby bird, you can be a skilled hand-feeder.

... if you can hand-wean parrots, there is some money to be made ... I hope your hobby / job is fruitful.
