Yes, probably it is an indication of cockfighting. My ex-relatives were into cockfighting and they did that with their birds.

Yes, it is. Hope your authorities are not like here in our area. A man had about 50 such boxes right near a state highway for years, in plain view. Nothing was ever done. I suppose they have to be caught in the act of actually fighting before charges can be filed.

Possibly. Call your local animal control and let them know what is going on. Cockfighting is illegal in many places.

Yes, they are. The leashes are to stop them fighting when they don't want them to, hence the reason for individual cages.
