I have a male and female cockatiel that are kept in the same cage and recently the male has been plucking the head and neck feathers of the female. Should i separate them? Why is he plucking her feathers?

I am planning on purchasing either a sun conure or gold capped conure, and I have read that the fumes from Teflon can be toxic for these birds. I have Calphalon and Cuisinart pots and pans. They are dark in color (rather than stainless steel colored). How can I tell if they are Teflon?

hes not a baby anymore and is roughly about 5 years old or maybe less.
He makes alot of noise and screetches for no reasion, hes more like an attetion seaker then anything.
if i go out the room and he cant see me he will make noise's (screetching mostly)
screeming at him to "shut up" obviously dont work.
the only other option iv done so far is put him in the "naughty room" (the back room)
does anyone else have this problem with talking parots
whats the best discipline for an old(ish) Bird?

i have a budgie aviary with 6 budgies currently in it. I think it is about 1 metre by about 9 foot so they have a good flight. But it is a bit boring. It is a great aviary but please help me make it more interesting! Here a picture of it

i have a red male and a yellow female and i didn't realize that they were mating until i added a female blue capped cordon bleu to the cage and they were aggressive toward her so i removed her and realized that may be the reason. now i added a basket and the grass that i keep for them to play with they started to make a nest so i added some other stuff for them to use. the male Preston is dilligently making the nest while Penellopee the female stands guard but how do i know when they breed. prestons is very dark now and she as well and i check daily for eggs but none as of yet. also i want to get a male red faced gouldian to add with melody my cordon bleu, will they cross breed cause i don't want that, i wasn't even thinking about breeding when i got the female for the male i just knew they came together to the store and when my european died i wanted to get preston another companion so he would not be depressed anymore. help!
