I even have bantams and finished sized chickens. Pekins are a bantam breed-they have not any extra advantageous chickens of the comparable breed (if it relatively is sensible). There are some different "actual bantam breeds". Our totally elderly actual bantams are a pair of one/3 of the size of our 12 week outdated Rhode Island Reds-they are going to be finished sized. Our gentle Sussex bantams are a pair of million/2 the size of our finished sized gentle Sussex chickens. wish that facilitates.

a bantam is a chicken... only difference is that a bantam is small. if you go to a website... such as... idealpoultry.com... you can look at poultry for sale and they will tell you the different weights of them and pictures. silkies are a popular bantam chicken. there are many different colors and are very pretty when they are older. i have owned many different chickens so if you ever need help about them let me know.

A bantam is a chicken but a smaller breed of chickens- they look like mini chickens and they lay smaller eggs. A midsize chicken might be a polish chicken which usually lay white eggs(and yes local eggs can be white eggs...lol) and a sexlink or Rhode Island Red or Dominiques are larger more traditional chickens and they lay usually brown eggs..... There are many different breeds of chickens.
