who else thinks its unfair??? (i'm not referring to showing for breed standards, thats normal that they have to be pure breeds)

my dog is like 10 or 11 years old.she has lost alot of weight is this normal,and if so how can she gain more weight?her backbone is showing and she eats good all the time..

i have a long haired cat..it is always mleaving hair everywhere...im want to shave it but my electric clippers always scare it and it struggles and runs away..whats the best technique to shaveit?

my female has only dropped 2 of her fry since last night but I can still see them inside her gravid spot- I can still see their eyes. She is a yellow/orange guppy so her spot is dark orange and I can see the black dots of the babies eyes still in there. I believe she is going to reabsorb them due to stress from the water change and my moving her last night trying to give her a safe place to give birth. But is there any way I can get her to deliver more of the fry before they are reabsorbed?

I like cats just fine, but have never had one and know nothing about them. An apparently stray cat has decided my yard is now his, and shows up every few days for an indeterminate amount of time. He has no tags, does not seem to be agressive, and does not appear to be starving (he's average to slighlty overweight), making me assume he was either recently a housecat, is being fed by others, or is a decent hunter. I have not touched him, fed him or chased him off. Yesterday, he rolled onto his back behind my car, keeping me from backing out of my driveway. I'm starting to feel responsible for this animal, but what do I do with him? Do I trap him and take him to a shelter, feed him, chase him off, take his picture and try to contact his family (if he has one) or do something else?

About 7 years ago our family labrador died and we all missed and miss her like crazy. She was a beautiful black lab. My parents say they wont get another dog until they retire but we've had an awful year (a few deaths in the family) and I think another puppy might be good for us. They've stressed they dont want one but I know if I bought one they couldnt say no due to it being too cute.

Should I get one do you think and just deal with the initial arguments?

She's 15 years old. She doesn't crouch when she pees, and I had to put a lid over the box or she'd wet the wall. Now she wets the back of the lid and it runs down onto the floor. I put newspaper under the box, but it smells. It's disgustiing to change the box and wash the lid all the time. I have had many cats in my life, and none of them did this.

She's been doing this all her life. Is she too old to teach better habits? How would I teach her, anyway?

My dog is a brown lab named Oliver - I have taken him to the Vet and he's not sure why Oli has diarrhea but he wants to prescribe a bunch of drugs. I'm a naturalist (herbal) kind of person. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Are cats supposed to eat flies?, i thouhgt they could then i thought they couldn't. I've read many books about cats and i don't remember it metioning any thing about flies.Don't they carry diseses?Should i be worried?
