A domestic dog that hasn't got a home.
Wild dogs are coyotes, foxes, wolves etc - species that are naturally born and live in the wild.
Feral dogs are domestic dogs (i.e labradors, cross breeds) that were born 'in the wild' (probably on the streets), but whose parents once had homes. They're pretty unusual, feral cats are a lot more common, you get colonies of them.
