It could be a sign of illness (particularly if she's lost weight rapidly and/or if there are other symptoms), or it could just be aging. A checkup would be a good idea.
My 12 year old dog has gotten pretty skinny over the past year or so, but the vet says she's in great shape for an old girl. She was on an all-dry food diet, so I'm adding wet food now in an effort to put a bit more 'meat' on her bones.

Older dogs lose muscle mass, just like humans; they don't run, jump do a lot of the things that they used to, so the muscles are not used in the same way, if at all. When is the last time she was seen by the vet?

Please take your dog to the vet. There could be so many things going on with her and one could be cancer. A large amount of weight loss be it a person or animal is a symptom of something going on with their health. I wish you and your dog the best. Call the vet for an appointment for tomorrow.

you should take her to the vet. If she eats well and is still losing weight, something is going on. whether it be some type of nurtritional absorbtion problem or something more serious such as a mass/cancer. Have her seen, they will probably do blood work and x-rays. good luck!

digestive disorders, malabsorbtion of nutrients to include fat and protein, worms, parasites, metabolic disease, cancer, lupus, many things
what does "eats good" all the time mean? are you feeding enough each day?
only a vet visit to include bloodwork (chem profile) and x rays will tell the story
Nothing much anyone can do here to help
good luck

She could be going through kidney/renal failure or she could have diabetes. I've had older animals that have went through both thitngs. Take her to a vet ASAP, so she could be treated and her life extended.
