Hi there! I have bred purebred, registered mini-lops for 10 years. There could be a couple of reasons why your bunny has lost its appetite. One major problem that could cause this is something called malocclusion. This happens, when their teeth grow too long in which in some severe cases they cannot even open their mouths to eat. Rabbits need their teeth trimmed, just like their nails, but not as often. You can also buy chew toys for this. Another problem could be a hairball. There are safe remedies you can buy at any petshop for this problem, talk to a sales associate to make sure you buy the right kind. It doesn't really hurt to give it even if your rabbit doesn't have a hairball. You should take your rabbit to the vet if you are really worried, especially if their is diarreah involved or significant weight loss, this could kill a rabbit in 72 hours. Hope that helps!

The best thing to do is to call the vet and ask someone there. They would know the most likely causes of why a rabbit would lose its appetite. Rabbits tend to die quickly so you should try and find out what the problem is ASAP.

Separate if you'll to track her consuming behavior however hold the cage facet via facet the opposite for the bonded rabbits to engage. Second, name a vet considering the fact that a gradual down in consuming and the digestive situation isn't well in any respect. It's worse if they are not even pooping or peeing so that you ought to see a vet espically on that weight reduction. Try supplying her purree pumpkin ( child meals ), mint, parsley, and might be apples and pineapple. If the vet confirms G.I.STASIS you'll most commonly be drive feeding her whatever like central care oxbox, get the apple banana taste, such a lot rabbits hate every other sort.

A few things, but what's more important is to get the rabbit to the vet!

How long has he not been eating for? Rabbits have very fast metabolisms and do not last for long without eating.

He could have overgrown incisor or molar teeth, he could have an intestinal impaction (has he stopped pooing?), or he could have an infection.

Get that bunny to a vet - and don't waste time on here if you're worried about a pet!!

Rabbits teeth continually grow. If they get too long it prevents them from eating. Even if it's not that your rabbit still needs to be seen by a vet asap.
