Does anyone else like kissing their dog?

I know it's really dirty but she has this really cute little black piece just under her nose that is all squishy and I love kissing it.

She loves it to because she kisses me back.

Come on - you know you all love doing it with your doggies.

Old Sheep dog keeps wetting herself. She won't eat or drink any medicine on offer for the condition. Any ideas?

He is a Japanese spitz, a little over a year old and recently he just stopped eating. He will drink (cold) water, and then just spend the entire day sleeping or just lieing. So what I do is just mix some soluble food into his water (like a dextrose) just so food can enter his body. But what is really bothering me is that he keeps on vomitting, and there has been a change in the color and texture of his stool. I went to the vet and she told me that the dog has amoeba. She gave me some prescription which I did follow but to no effect. Please help! He's the only companion I have and I don't want to lose him!

that I love dearly, however he is very aggressive with me, He is spoiled and bites me when ever he cant have things his way,At one point i even took him to a shelter hopeing to find him a good home, only to call the next day to find out they were going to put him down if i did not go get him,I went out and my poor cat was scared to death,he wouldnt let anyone around him but me. I felt so bad, this cat is so smart he can open the door to go out in the hall, he can not go out doors because he is declawed,.he can also be so loveing at times,I have tryed everything to stop his biteing, the thought alone of putting him down makes me cry.I have put him in the paper but even tho i put no kids they call and i tell them i dont think he would be good with kids,i have been looking for a year for a good home, this cat i beleave would be a great mouser,we do not have no kill shelters here or 4 cats only.as funny as this sounds i no this cat loves me. he does have alot good in him, please give advise.

I have good levels and good water, and i do not mind the extra water changes. I am just wanting all of my schooling fish to be happy. I also have 5 or 6 small snails, but I read that the loaches will eat small snails so I am not worried about overpopulation. Any input would be great. Thanks.

I give my birds tap water, but now they will be introducing fluoride into our water. >:(

Will it still be safe to give my birds tap water? I have a few dozen birds, and it takes a full bucket a day to water them all. So if I can't do that, it will be annoying.

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I don't know much about fluoride.

We have 3 cats, all of them strictly indoors. My little sister's cat, female, young adult, went missing on the 14th. My mom said she was playing in the back room chasing after a fly, and she hadn't seen her since then. We think she might have jumped on the screen door we have there and it wouldn't hold...so it swung open, she ran out, and the wind blew the door shut again, because nobody noticed an open door.

We've already looked everywhere inside, talked to several neighbors, put up posters in public areas, regularly contact animal control, and done a sweep of the nearby areas outside, including sheds, garages, etc. What else can we do? We're all worried sick. She hasn't had any shots, she isn't spayed, and she isn't microchipped...

What are the odds of us finding her? What else can we do? We're all worried sick about the poor cat. =(

they are all doing well, we just wondered if there was any thing extra we could feed the mother on to help build her up.The pups are 4 weeks old now and doing well but they are taking a lot out of the mother. We are feeding her on pedigree chum a little at a time 4 times a day and she is also on calcium tablets as well as baby milk.

For the last three plus months, she hasn't had an accident in the house but in the last couple of days she's had several. Our vet can't find anything wrong and isn't sure why she's regressing. The messes have been completely cleaned up with a proper solution. She is also crate trained and spayed. We've even taught her to ring a bell near the door when she has to go out. The only change in routine is that we are currently watching a friend's dog for a couple of weeks while they're on vacation. Could this have something to do with it. Any helpful suggestions will be appreicated.

I recently became the owner of 3 budgies and 1 cockateil. Three of the four do not want any part of my hand being in their cages the fourth only wants my hand near him if I am holding a millet spray. All 4 bite (really hard I might add) when I have to grab them for cage cleaning and the cockateil "hisses" if I even open the cage door to give him water. I would like them all to be tamed and finger trained at least. I read the with cockateils you should grab them with a towel and then hold them for a few minutes but to me that sounds like it would do more harm. I really want them to trust and want to be with me. How should I train them?

i have to go out of town for a week or two (give or take) and I'm worried about leaving my 5 month old tabby alone. Should he be ok? i'll have people checking on him daily, i just worry about his connection with me being injured. ALSO I am moving and i'm wondering what I can do to help him adjust and keep his same personality after the move.

Hi! I hope someone can help me quickly. After completing a 20% water change, I noticed one newborn fry in my guppy tank. I wasn't expecting them yet so was not yet ready with the breeding net, but I quickly set it up and put momma in there. But she completely freaked out in there even after several minutes. She was trying to swim through the bottom of the net and I feared she'd kill herself from stress. I released her but I am afraid the male in the tank will eat the fry and I have waited a long time for fry from this particular male so I don't want to lose any. I have removed mom to a small (1/2 gallon or so?) betta tank that has no filtration or aeration (or heater). How long can she stay in there? I don't know what to do- it is too late to go to a pet store for a tank divider or anything like that. If she gives birth quickly I can put the fry into the breeding net in the main filtered tank. But how long do I give her? What should I do for her? Advice is appreciated!!

My feral cat which I tamed, has had kittens somewhere in the woods, and I would like to know how to find where she keeps them. I have tried alot of things to find them, but no luck.
I don't want them to turn out wild and reproduce.

I was planning on getting her spayed in Oct, but now I have to wait until she is not in heat. I'm very concerned as to why she is in heat again, just after almost only 2 months. I thought it was at least every six months that they went into heat. What's going on?! Is she OK?! Thanks so much in advance.

My daughter has been having problems with flea invasion. The pets are now flea-free, and they are staying at my house, but they continue to have problems in their home even though they've bought all the remedies from store and vet. It seems professional fumigation is needed. She is pregnant, however, and fearful of the residual chemicals. Anybody know if this could be potentially dangerous to her 3-month pregnant body and tiny growing baby? Thanks in advance for your help in answering this question. (Uh-hum...We would like to send their pets back home!)

I just got a puppy saturday and found out that he had worms. They are about 3/4 inch long and white, and they were crawling out of his butt hole. I got the liquid medicine and gave it to him and he pooped a bunch of them out. The next day he didn't have any crawl out on their own, but he pooped out some that were dead. Today they have been crawling out and his poop has had aproximately 10-15 live worms in it. Can someone tell me how long it may take to get rid of them completely? And when should i give him the medicine again if they are still coming out? I am taking him to the vet friday, but it breaks my heart because he's so tiny and I want him to feel better.

My grandmother's cat had kittens and she has trouble taking care of them, so I said I'd take one home with me.

They're about 2 weeks old and can eat solid food, but also still drink the mother's breast milk when they get a chance. I don't want to take it home and risk it's health before it's completely weaned. And I know it's just a baby and needs to be emotionally weaned as well.

First I need to clean up my house to make it safe for the kitten, and buy cat food and a litter box. How long should I wait before bringing it home? Would 2 more weeks be appropriate?
